Was a good place to work at first, nice co-workers and everyone was helpful and understanding. As I worked there longer the manger would never give me days off that I asked for (for school reasons) more than two weeks in advance, then would get mad at me when I had to retell them I couldn't work when that weeks schedule went up. I got yelled at more than once in the middle of the store because of this. I was embarrassed almost every time I worked and it was too stressful being yelled at every time I went in. After all this my hours got cut down and when I asked for more they would once again get mad at me.
I didn't mind the work for a part-time job but the management was unfair and unprofessional.

Customer Service can be both the toughest and the best part of this job. Dealing with irate customers, or ones that are just having a bad day regardless of how friendly you are, makes the job difficult at times, but having customers that appreciate an effort or a service makes it all worthwhile.

A typical day involves working on cash, supervising the cashiers throughout the store (not just the front-end cashes). The management team is professional and friendly. They are willing to mediate conflicts to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable workplace. The co-workers are mostly young students, but they keep a measure of respectfulness and professionalismn when on the job.

The seasonal shipment would enter the store. My job was to unload the truck and count inventory of the product. Then open every box and make space on the floor for the product to go up and match the rest of the aesthetic in the store. I put all the product on the shelf in a way that will capture the customers' attention so that they will buy the product before the season ends. 

Management was ideal in the beginning then it broke down over time resulting in limited direction and guidance when it was needed. 

The job was very enjoyable and rewarding because of the value and important I had for my company, I felt wanted and that my work was important.

I worked in HABA (health and beauty accessories) for a year and a half and then for the rest of my time there I worked on cash. I started with an okayish manager, and then we got a new manager. She is nice, but tends to not give proper days off "your vacations are a REQUEST". There are no benefits associated with the job. However, the other cashiers were amazing. I met my best friends there, and we just came back from a trip together. The people are amazing, the management is okay.

Like most other minimum wage jobs. Management can be too micromanaging and unstable, lashing out at random for not working at unreasonable levels, but usually fair. No benefits and hours can sometimes go up or down at random depending on store needs. No experience or any skills needed to apply to most departments, high acceptance rate with low standards when needing workers.

Working at this store has its ups and downs. Very friendly coworkers and pretty easy job description. Owner is the worst part of the job. He will yell at employees infront of customers. Hours are pretty flexible, depending on the department you work in or the overall sales for the store. Good first job, ideal for high school or post secondary students.

I was happy for my first year here but things quickly turned for the worst. I found myself getting yelled at more and more for thing that were out of my control. If you’re looking for a quick job its a great option, but staying there for more than a year will make you question your decisions.

the reason had nothing to do w my work just scream and yelled at me in front of customer which it was someone else department try to tell him but kept yelling anyways im shure its ok place to work but I did not like it

I worked here for about 2 and a half years because I was still in highschool and it was about a 10 minute bike from my house.

I was never really treated with respect by the higher up's. 
In my two and a half years of experience, I never once got any bonuses, employee discounts or anything of that sort.

I would serve customers, and help them bag their groceries.My co-workers were very kind and helpful. The hardest part of job was the standing for the long amount of time. The most enjoyable job was interacting with customers.
