A busy and fast passed environment, which is great since theres always lots to do. 
I've learned how a large restaurant works, and what it takes to work as a team to keep a steady work flow.
Management is a little disorganized, and not easy to approach. They don't check availability sheets when creating schedules so there tends to be a lot of scheduling problems. 
I enjoy working with my co-workers, everyone is friendly and willing to answer any questions I may have, and help me out when ever I need it. 
The hardest part of my job is when I have to work alone on the conveyer in the kitchen. It can be very overwhelming during a rush and it's not always possible to have someone help if it becomes to much. 
The most enjoyable part of my job is when I get to work in pantry or prep, I don't have to be alone and overwhelmed, 



Going into this job I thought it would be fairly easy and laid back and honestly kind of fun. After my first shift, when they made me stay for an hour after my scheduled shift was done with basically no warning, I knew it wasn't going to be the best job. It was extremely stressful and fast-paced, they almost never gave you breaks unless the restaurant was empty, no matter how long your shift was (I probably got less than 10 breaks and I worked there for 7 months - and my shifts were an average of about 8 hours long). The work environment was very toxic during the busy hours, everyone was stressed and unreasonable. They made me stay at least an hour later than I was scheduled almost every shift. Other than that, I made some friends and got some good work experience.

If u make a mistake management will treat u like garbage for the rest of the day.

I put my two weeks in due to a better job offer closer to my university and for more money and better hours they were not able to give me. my first shift into my two weeks i treated like garbage. i was treated as a punching bag. I could hear management talking behind my back using me as a punchline. it was very unpleasant. 

management is very unprofessional and if u aren’t perfect they will show u. i was sick for a few days. i had to call into work. i got punished for that for the next 2 weeks by being made to stay late and do unnecessary cleaning jobs. or sending other people home so i had to complete everything. 

I’ve work at moose for around 8-9 months now and I’m tired of doing everything in the kitchen you have to run every single thing they constantly ask for. the items you’re getting yelled at for, you have to bring them to  the people or they’ll get angry with you. you also have to take care of everything in dish area by yourself. Only during training you have a 2nd person with you cause of “labor costs” everyone in the kitchen treats you like nothing unless you have experience and are a fast worker. As well as the “free lunches” you have to actually pick up shifts for those unless you’re a server

Throughout five months of working at Moose, I have had the worst experience of my life. The management team and some of the employees treated me like a piece of garbage, also I was not trained properly ever since I first started this job. During most of my shifts. I was being yelled at by the management team and some of the employees as well, which was extremely stressful. Furthermore, I did not receive that much hours and whenever I asked my manager if he could schedule me more often, he only scheduled me for six to nine more hours. Overall, terrible place to work at no wonder why this job has such a high turnover rate.

I enjoyed working with food and making the food look eye appealing and presentful not to only myself but to the staff and the guests as well. I enjoyed working mainly by myself, the freedom I had when figuring things out for myself such as the techniques used when preparing certain food items. Over all the chef was childish and rude and expected alot from 1 person. Throughout the time I worked at Moose Winooski's I believe there was only 1 chance I got to purchase food, sit down and eat it.

Served here for five years and learned how to work in a fast paste environment and how to handle the pressure and stay organized. The management was usually very helpful and nice. The workplace culture was good. Lots of different age groups. The hardest part of the job was when we had hockey tournaments and would have tables of 50-60 walk in on those weekends. The most enjoyable part of this job was the atmosphere and the social aspects of the job as well as our staff events. I also loved training new people.

I was hired on as a Hostess, with no previous work experience but a willingness to learn. I was to come in on my first day and I was told I would be shadowing someone and working by their side to learn the job for the first week. The very first day I got handed a shirt, and was thrown into the position with no one working with me, no one to show me the ropes and I was expected to figure it out on my own. There were large groups coming in to be seated and no one was there to provide me with any training. Needless to say I did not come back.

I worked there for a while, raises were non-existent even though I showed up everyday, did my job and never had complaints. Was supposed to get reviews every 6 months and didn't. You can become a supervisor but it just means more duties at maybe 10 cents more of pay. The owners don't care about the regular employees just the higher up managers who get bonuses all the time. Overall terrible place to work, there's a reason the turnover rate Is so high...

I had issue with working at Moose Winooskies as I felt that management treated me poorly as well as other employees. I didn't feel thouroughly trained. There was many insances where I felt very stressed because of management and a few insances where I was yelled at and scolded by managers. I also did not reviece many shifts and was denied shifts when I requested to pick them up.
