Overall I’ve had a great experience working at Mosquito Buzz! A typical day as a technician involves driving to gorgeous properties and applying insecticide treatments, while upholding a professional level of communication and service with the customers. In my two years with the company I’ve gained many valuable everyday skills such as independence, customer service, and problem-solving. The management at Mosquito Buzz is top tier with each interaction being supportive, well-organized, and always making you feel like a valued part of the team. With that being said, critical feedback is always given  in a constructive and respectful way, helping you grow professionally while still feeling motivated and appreciated. The workplace culture was always friendly, energetic and motivated by a common goal of delivering quality service. The most challenging part of the job was keeping up in the busy/peak of the season, however this was a very rewarding experience that the company helps push you through. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to be outside during the beautiful summer months, building strong customer relationships, and being part of a company that truly cares about its employees and clients.

Working at Mosquito Buzz has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Helping customers enjoy their yards all summer long brings a real sense of purpose to the work. Throughout my time here, I’ve gained valuable skills that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. The job is full of variety, which has helped me grow significantly in areas like customer service, sales, time management, and decision-making.
The management team is supportive, professional, and always approachable. They set clear expectations, provide thorough training, and treat every team member with respect. I always feel comfortable asking questions or asking for help, which makes a big difference in feeling confident and successful on the job.

I recently had the opportunity to work at Mosquito.buzz, and I have to say, it was a pretty rewarding experience. From the start, the team was welcoming and friendly, making it easy to settle in. Everyone was eager to help each other out, which created a nice collaborative atmosphere.

The work itself was engaging. I appreciated how they encourage us to make mistakes and learn from them, It felt like i was valued, which really motivated me to put my best foot forward. Plus, I learned a lot about pest control and innovative solutions in an industry that doesn’t always get the best reputation. 

The management team was approachable and open to feedback, which made it easy to communicate ideas or concerns. I felt supported in my role and appreciated the regular check-ins to ensure everyone was on track and feeling good about their work.

The hours were reasonable, and work-life balance was respected, which is a huge plus in any job. Overall, my experience at Mosquito.buzz was positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly workplace where you can grow and make a difference.

I drive a company provided van from my home to various customer homes in the area. Using a backpack blower I walk around properties and spray a mosquito barrier around the perimeter and house so that people can enjoy being outside in their yards without pesky mosquitoes. I also spray for tick protection. I learned quite a lot about mosquitoes/ ticks that I can use for protection and prevention. All the technicians, supervisors and managers are absolutely fantastic people to work with. Hardest part is the week or so getting used to the backpack but it’s like nothing now, and the heat some days but it’s completely manageable with proper hydration and a break if neeeded. Even with the heat it’s quite nice being outside everyday and walking around some very beautiful properties. Help is always there if you need it with numerous people you can reach out to, there’s always someone there. Being in my mid 30’s and having had lots of different employers over the years, Mosquito Buzz is by far in my top choice of places to work and would recommend it to anyone.

A typical day at work is working independently going from property to property. At each property you chat with customers, possibly meet some animals and then do your spray. This job has taught me a lot this summer such as improved my skills like time management and overall organization. The management team and and anyone above you is just a text or a phone call away and is always willing to help you and way possible. Aswell they always have great feedback or positive comments towards your work! The hardest part of the job would be the physical part, it is a lot of walking, but it’s nice as you get to be active at the same time!  There are many enjoyable parts of this job but some of the main ones are meeting such great people, that you work with or even customers. You get to see some pretty cool houses and meet some fun animals. I would 100% recommend this job to anyone! 

Over the summer I spent working at Mosquito.buzz I got the opportunity to learn how to sell through calling leads, upselling current customers, and dormant/previous customers. The work environment is social and competitive. Lots of fun company events are hosted over the summer and every birthday is celebrated. Sales numbers are posted daily to a dashboard, its a great way to drive competition between sales reps and foster company growth. Additionally, no experience is required, they are just looking for students who are social and have good communication skills. It is a great place to work if you are a student with summer availability. Contracts are usually 4 months long, starting in April or may and ending in late August. 

Can't say enough about Mosquito.Buzz.  From the get go they were supportive and incredibly flexible with my schedule.  You feel like you matter to these guys.  There are loads of fun incentives throughout the work season and management are wonderful at valuing their employees. The pay is more than fair for the work and, as I said, there are ways to increase your income through sales commissions and fun little contests.  You get to work outdoors, independently and with nobody breathing down your back.  It's physically demanding but nothing ridiculous.  I'm 62 and I was able to pull it off.  If anything, it helped me lose a bit of weight!  Wish more companies were run like this.  Perfect job for somebody paying their way through school or something.

I've spent three consecutive summers working for mosquito.buzz as both a sales and customer service representative and I could not be happier with my experience. I have never been a part of a work environment that does so much to prioritize the well-being, growth and success of its employees. Working for mosquito.buzz allowed me the opportunity to learn and apply essential skills related to customer satisfaction, marketing and sales from the first point of client communication to the last. The emphasis mosquito.buzz places on collaboration and teamwork made me feel supported and capable of taking on new challenges in the field. Not to mention, the period of employment also makes this the ideal job for students and anyone looking to get full-time sales experience in the summer!

Working at Mosquito.Buzz for the past summer has been an extremely positive experience. The environment in the work place was very pleasant, and every employee from the CEO, managers, sales staff and technicians were very nice and helpful. Every single day I felt valued and appreciated by my bosses and co-workers, which is something I haven't felt at any other job I'd been at previously (even those at which I'd been at for years). The pay was fantastic and the hours were very flexible. I always felt accommodated and was treated fairly. Couldn't recommend working here enough! What a great experience.

Mosquito.Buzz is easily the best company I've ever worked for. They provide really flexible hours, I've always been able to do as many as I want, and they were especially accommodating through an injury I sustained outside of work. Could not have asked for a more pleasant management team as well as coworkers (techs, sales staff, etc). The company really values their employees and it was always abundanly clear to me how much that rang true. There's a large degree of freedom with this job as well as great communication with superiors. I never felt like I was being micromanaged but direction was always clear and simple. Couldn't recommend working here enough. Great pay, great people and great hours.
