If looking for stability, this IS your place. If you are looking for "high" earnings, this is NOT for you. If you live in the north shore, it is very convenient. If you don't and have to cross the bridge, this is NOT your place. Traffic is horrendous.
Entry level is minimum wage and if lucky, you can make a few cents more within a year. Benefits are only after a year. The company doesn't offer any incentives or bonuses, has no plans, structure nor goals. Coordinators are great people but will highly benefit from having some training on multiple areas (starting by organization). The coordinators act like assemblers as they have too much to do and no time to organize themselves. Supervisors are helpful but have no time for anyone or simply don't care. Middle management is nice and very helpful when needed but too busy at the same time. Upper management does not care about production at all. It seems like they are bringing up many issues but unable to see the effort from everyone. The owner goes to production and makes jokes that are never funny. The owner is used to treat mostly immigrants that are unable to communicate properly therefore English speaking people don't last long as they don't want to take her cxxp. The owner behaves as if the company was a daycare or preschool as she has even confiscated cell phones from people. Even though it is a good company and an interesting field, it is very archaic as EVERYTHING is on paper. Computers are just for the lucky people that have access to more. 
If you are looking for a start and some experience, this is a perfect fit.

Working for the last 3 months as a supply chain intern at Mountain Technologies was an absolute pleasure. 

Although the work was repetitive and often monotonous (which I expected), I loved how everyone was so willing to answer any questions I had about their job, how the company worked in a particular department, the core and production processes and so on. 

Considering this was my first internship, I am very thankful for the honest feedback I received throughout my time from my supervisor, and the opportunity I got to work with other staff closely and experience what office life feels like. 

The management was very accommodating when it came to my prayers and any personal/emergencies and was always willing to give a few minutes of their time.

The main pitfall of this company is the  lack of management procedures and overall knowledge of what a manager should do. They don't seem to care for establishing a connection with employees; the less they can interact with you, the better. Besides, the HR  manager served more as an enforcer, rather than someone you want to talk to confidently, only spreading fear. Also, no proper standarization for procedures; most of the times they have no idea what project is next, and they are always tip toeing between tasks, abandoning them for days, until they are told now they're urgent all of a sudden.

Overall, no place to grow, extremely repetitive work, no good communications between members, and generally sad, machine-like environment. No freedom for thinking outside the box.



My work days are same from day-to-day. My day generally involves showing up for work, determining supplies needed, setting goals for the work day, and then doing my best to meet those goals by the end of the day.
I have learned several aspects of several trades, as well as key elements of project logistics and self-directed workflow. My coworkers are helpful, the owner of the company, and a family friend, who has been my instructor. They are good to work with; both knowledgeable and hard-working, although due to them living outside the city, time is often a negative factor.

The most boring part of the job is routine work.

My work there is assembling wires and cables. I learned a lot there for being more discpline, and organized. My co-wokers some kinda pretty good people. The hardest part of my job is there is some of my co-workers have some mistake so we need to do it again the all the procedures. I enjoyed working there because of my good friends are working there too and work is not that heavy seating down for 8 hours.

Started working at MTL as a senior assembler in 2021. The job gave me an excellent opportunity to enhance my soldering and electronics assembly skills. The folks around are very helpful. Production managers and coordinators are great. However, benefits and pay could be better, especially in times we live now. All in all, the experience was great!

Its a very good place to work for. Its a fast paced work place but the management is very friendly and understanding. Also the learning process is very meticulate and the boss always believeing in doing the right things in the right way and always as per the law.

OK company to work for. Stable and convenient when you live in North Vancouver. Perfect for newcomers or if you are looking for job security.
Assembly of cable and wires. At first hands can hurt if not used to work with hands but easy to get used to it.

Asst. Production Manager is very rude, she also does not provide enough 
training.Production Manager himself is a nice guy. Similar companies are doing ways more professional.

I've learned a lot. The quality of the products are very high level.
The environment didn't rich my criteria. Always separated in groups,gossips etc.
The hardest time was learning new things.
