Working at MSI Spergel Inc allowed me to grow professionally and personally as a student. I learned to adapt to the environment by working with people from various backgrounds. This allowed me to easily transition into their culture. The most difficult part of the job was definitely taking over the front desk as answering phone calls as well as welcoming guests often created stress. As much as it was stressful, I did also find that part of the job to be the most enjoyable because completing such a challenging task has always made me feel so accomplished. In conclusion, I would say that this company has one of the most friendliest management I have ever worked for. I would highly recommend anyone to work there.

Spergel is a busy insolvency office.  The Trustee's are all very supportive and loyal to their employee's.  As a corporation they put on two employee events per year(pre and post covid), for all to attend during work hours (with pay).  No staff were laid off during Covid even though we were quite slow.  There is a bonus program as well.  Yearly reviews and raises.  The office can be fast paced during busy times. 
As an office we all work together to help each other out and pitch in where needed. 
Spergel is a great place to work!


Good stepping stone for the future. Starting Salary is low which makes it hard to really motivate yourself as an employee on a day to day basis. Toxic environment at times, the people that work out of certain offices make it extremely difficult to work with, have to do things there way or no way at all. Very Negative. no positive enforcement. Room for improvement via schooling but you will have to fight for a raise.

It is rare to work in a company where the management team is so equally committed to their employees and clients. All employees are encouraged to provide new ideas which are often implemented and there is a lot of opportunity for growth.

The employees are very welcoming, easy to work with and there is a tremendous appetite to always do the right thing for clients. I highly recommend working at this company.

Office click with staff -unfriendly work environment.  Office is nice, clean.  In a bad location in Oshawa.  Great support from head office.  Loved helping clients.

This was a nice place to work but as the firm grew in size, management's orientation shifted away from human resource development to focus on the bottom line at any cost.  Would not recommend as a supportive and nurturing workplace.

Management is very cliquey and micromanages their staff a lot and is not supportive of staff needs. Workplace culture is very cliquey as well. 

Otherwise a great stepping stone for an entry-level job.

Worked as an office administrator and the job was very relaxed and easygoing with little pressure from superiors. Overall learned a lot and found myself wanting to go in everyday.

Nice staff, understanding managers, and well organized and rewarding job in general. Nice hours, and demonstrate a lot of respect to new employees. Great atmosphere.

Love it! It’s a great place to work. Everyone cares about you. Also, the colleagues are friendly and very helpful if you need help. There are tons of opportunities for growth.
