Multiple Families

A typical day at work included preparing meals and snacks for the children. I would engage in fun activities such as playing board games, drawing, colouring, and reading. I learned how to prepare certain meals for the children. I learned how to use certain cleaning products to clean up around the house. The hardest part of the job included getting the children to respect their bed time. I learned to come up with fun, imaginative games to get the children to cooperate with me and go to sleep. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to spend time with the children and coming up with fun activities to play.

I worked  predominantly with infants and their parents. Parents of the babies hugely appreciated the work I did for them and the babies. 

I also worked closely with senior citizens and their families. I was appreciated by the family for making their loved one comfortable and safe. 

didn't have co-workers, I worked solo. 
A typical day at work involves providing meals, changing diapers, bathing children, preparing bottles, playing with children, cleaning up after children, & providing a safe and secure environment for the child(ren). 
I learnt very good life skills, how to be a mother/wife & run a home.
The most enjoyable part of working was spending time doing something I know & love & spending time with the children.

Babysitting is a wonderful career but it can be an amazing time or hectic few hours depending on the family. This does help you build of a resume and is good for people not yet eligible to legally work in Canada because of their age. I suggest taking a babysitting course before starting this job.

I worked for a family lawyer and then a criminal lawyer.  it was unfortunate that my time with the criminal lawyer had to be cut short due to being treated extremely unfairly.

Looking after different families with children from different ages and with different needs has provided me with more responsibility. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the kids as much as possible!

It was a good experience, I learned how to care for children. The typical day was making food for the children and watching them for up to 8 hours. The hardest part was them not listening to me and the easiest part was getting to know the children.

the most enjoyable part of working as caregiver was getting to help the kids with their homework, taking them to the parks, I learning that babies are hard to take care of but you just got to learn to have patience.

Sometimes working with children can be stressful , but you’re always having something to do which is what i strive for. It was a very interesting environment
