Disorganized messy nightmare of a work environment. Management has no responsibility and offers very little guidance while working (they might end up hindering your work when helping, then blame you for the slowdown). This place has a high turnover rare for a reason.
If you have no other option, this job can give you experience for better jobs down the line if you stick it out. However, if any other opportunity comes along, avoid this place with a 10ft pole.

Owners Micro manage and want to be involved with everything- they make you punch in and out for everything. Buzzers go off to signal breaks and its a constant ringing for 8 hours a shift. There is no employee engagement, and no room for growth. The operations manager is a loudmouth. If you work in admin here you will stare at a screen for the majority of your day and rot. I would not recommend working here.

I've been here for just over a year now, and I can honestly say I really enjoy coming into work everyday.  The people here are great, and the work environment is very relaxed and casual.  The manufacturing industry isn't for everyone, but I would definitely recommend working here to anyone looking for a change.

Munck Cranes is the best job I've ever had. I have learned so much as my position has evolved and grown with the company. The management here is fantastic and everyone is treated with respect and care. You know you have a great job when the best part of your day is getting to go to work! I am truly blessed to have won the job lottery in getting to work here!

I worked at Munck for just about a month before I left. It’s a tough job and you’ll be bending your back welding inside the overhead cranes & being pressured to work at a quick pace. The shop co-workers are fine but the pay is not worth the strain your body will experience while working there.

Management is horrible. They don’t take accountability for anything they do to their employees. They are disrespectful, rude, miserable and you will feel degraded no matter what your job is. They have a revolving door because no one wants to put up with them. If you have any self respect, I advise you avoid this company at all costs. 

It felt like a prison cell working there. They micro-manage, they make you punch out for a measly 30 min lunch break and get upset if you are 30 seconds late. No team work, no collaboration, miserable management and owners. In summation, an awful place to work and I would recommend no one apply here.

I sincerely enjoy the people I work with and coming into work everyday.  The company has a lot of good opportunities for growth and advancement, and I've learned a lot about the industry in a very short period of time since being hired here.  Everyone is very supportive of each other. 

Munck Cranes is a good place to work.  The people here are friendly and helpful, and the workplace is very casual and laid back.  I actually look forward to going into work each day, and can honestly say that I stand behind the products we build.  I would be happy to recommend Munck to others looking for a new venture.

Munck cares about there employees. If working a typical work day as a saw operator you will be most likely making precise cuts on different sizes of steel (round bar, flat bar, HSS and many others. and if you are not on the saw you will be assisting others with different tasks.
