What is the best part of working at the company?
I have worked here twice. As a 3rd year apprentice in 2015 and as a journeyman from September 2023 to October 2025. They are not perfect. But no company is. They pay is good, the benefits and RRSP matching is good too. You don’t have to work OT if you don’t want to. It’s a good place to learn multifamily residential and commercial construction plumbing. The majority of the foremen and leadhands are really good. I would work here again and recommend this company to anybody.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Towards the end of each project the deadline pushes can get stressful. But that’s the same everywhere.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good foremen and leadhands. If you get pigeonholed on a crew for too long you just have to speak up and they will move you to another crew

The co-workers are a great bunch of people. Clac is the”union” but they are pretty useless and not worth the money you spend for them to represent you. Most of the foreman don’t have a clue what they are doing or how to manage people properly. They use threats of losing your job as a tactic to play with your head and to try and get what they want out of you. There is no job security when they are done with you you are gone. Most foreman make totally unattainable job deadlines as a tactic to make you think you’re not good enough. Don’t be a minute late or they dock you a half hour sometimes without telling you so you work that half hour for free.

Tons of great dudes in the company who are well educated in their craft. Sometimes I find there is a lack of communication but that is easily resolved. As far as work goes you’ll definitely keep busy here, sometimes working more hours than necessary to stay on top of project which is about the most common complaint from the company’s employees, although we all know there’s worse things than working long days. All in all Mystique Mechanical is a good company with good culture, good guys, and fair pay as far as commercial work goes

Loved working here and everyone I worked with.  Most days were fairly laid back but always busy. Was learning how to better my soldering.   The management was tough to work with but usually listened to problems.   The culture was great and lost of plumbers that had different ideas. Great learning experience.  Hardest part was getting material and fittings that we needed to complete a task. 
Coffee times and lunch times, we would all sit together and talk.

The dude that has long hair ,looks like a lady will back stabbed you first chance he gets - HIS NAMES DAN. 

If youre not in the click or ratting co workers out you wont make it here.
Youll work youre hardest and still wont be good enough.

The work environment can be very hostile and almost to the point of harassment if you are not part of the group at certain sites.   Had one site where I met some really great people though   Most have left the company.

start work at 7 work until 3:15, learn new things everyday, management is great, co-workers are friendly and easy to get along with, hardest part of the job is its not hard enough, and the most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that I support my happy family everyday by doing what I do

Would recommend this company to any interested in either plumbing servies, or employment opportunities.  Friendly, professional and highly aware of the importance of reliability and time management Mystique Mechanical is a go to place.

Assisted journeyman plumbers with piping installation. Drilled holes on concrete ceilings for the hangers that would hold the pipes up. Cut steel threaded rods to specific lengths for the pipes we would hang.

The work was good and for the most part there was lots of work to be had.  People that I got to work with was a great group.  Jobs consisted of commercial high rise and multi family dwellings.
