1)My typical work day with NCRI is pretty straight forward we go through our accounts trying to help the our clients collected and close all of their outstanding accounts as quickly as possible.  Collecting as much money as we can on that account with a little extra by helping the person which owes the money as well rebuild their credit.  
2) I have learned that most people that are in debt don't understand how to fix their issue and just try to hide from it instead, which makes it even worse.
3) Management is what makes this company, they are like family and go beyond what they actually is in their job title.
4) The work culture at NCRI is very fairly done and everyone is treated the same weather your black, white, Asian, and so on.  Know one is made to be looked down upon or made fun of at any lengths.  This I fine is one of the best things that make up NCRI as a company.
5) The hardest part of my job that I can think of is set up your desk when you first start, to set that base so you can work your self to a bonus cheque within the next month or two.  The other part of the job that I find to be difficult is getting intouch with the debtors and getting them to trust you to verify with their last 3 digits of their sin number or their birth date to verify that yes in fact this is them on the phone. 
6) The most enjoyable part of my job at NCRI would have to be the management for sure. They treat you as family and they also make sure that they aren't making you feel as if they are at a higher level then you.  Which they are at a higher level then you but your never made to feel this way at all.  "

MANAGEMENT IS WHAT MAKES THIS COMPANY FOR SURE NO QUESTIONS ASKED"


During my tenure with this organization, I will describe it as exceptionally unique especially for a collection agency and contact point centre. I have developed exceptional relationships amongst co workers and the management team. A typical day at work is to go log on to your phone and wait for inbound calls and later in the day you get switched to an outbound softphone application and wait for outbound calls to come in to negotiate and take payments over the phone, or initiate a manual dial process to reach out to the customer to carry out the duties. I myself had a wonderful relationship with not only the CEO but President of the organization and he is a pioneer in the organization and reaches out to his front line employees which I have never seen in my eight years of working in the industries I have knowledge in. The team is absolutely tight knit which is very good to see and it actually helps you to achieve results with a very good attitude. I would say the hardest part of the job is sometimes the client demands a lot from the organization and its employees however other than that, if you are looking for a career in the call centre/collections industry, I would definitely recommend National Credit Recovery as a place to work for, especially if your looking to advance in your career, they will provide the tools available to help you grow within the organization.

I worked here for only a few months. Reasons why you should stay away:
- work from home training really bad. I was told IT would be looking at my issue when I was having technical difficulties and it took several days before they even solved the problem.
- i barely started when the CEO sent out a memo that said all salary increases will be freezed for the duration of the pandemic .Like, are you kidding me? How do they even know how long the pandemic will last?
- their motto is deny deny deny and blame the employee for everything. Never accept responsibility for their mistakes and always turn it around to make it look like it's your fault even when it's their system that goes down
- a culture of hypocrisy and encouraging employees to lie and turn on each other. You get a verbal warning if they find out you revealed your salary to your colleagues doing the same job. Salary here is not based on your competence and experince level but to what extent you are 'buddies' with the managers.

Management needs a more hands-on style of leadership that emphasises collaboration, while avoiding language that reflects a top-down or ivory tower approach, such as 'I don't want to see', 'this must stop', or overuse of phrases like 'my team' or 'ownership', which can sometimes convey an authoritarian tone.
The nature of the work aligns well with the job description- The presence of fantastic colleagues, who are mature and well-educated in most cases, makes the day enriching through collaborative exchanges. This is further enhanced by clear and transparent procedures between the various departments.
Salaries, bonuses, and leave policies could be improved. Offering only 10 days off per year during the first two years is insufficient, and these days off cannot truly be considered 'leave'—they are merely rest days being taken

Bonus structure is extremly tough and they made it unattainable. Only people achieving it were the ones who had been there for decades, and have accounts in their arsenal since long paying them dividends. Leadership team will support those long tenure employees by giving them the best accounts to collect from and maximize on their targets. New bees were stuck with small and terrible accounts which ensured one to stay at the bottom of the pile. 
No raise, no benefits and no growth support. 
I had a decent run there since I came from a collections back ground. There are no coaching sessions and only time you will get one when they have to deliver you an action plan, yeah and it would be a straight written action plan so they can keep their positions intact in front of their bosses. 

Worked here for about 3 months, here is my personal experience:-
- You have a dialer that dials in all the phone numbers. They usually run slow or it connects to a person's voicemail. You are given another list to call when the dialer runs slow, but these are usually debtors who are untraceable. Basically, it is very difficult to contact people. This will affect your numbers. 
- Management is cutoff and only cares about numbers. No additonal help or training is provided if you are doing bad.
- Immediate Supervisor was helpful and understanding.
- Work here only if you have no other option. 
- You have about two 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes lunch.

If you enjoy being micromanaged by people outside of Canada, this job might be for you. The calls themselves weren’t too stressful, but the real pressure came from constant micromanagement by supervisors and the quality control based in India and the Philippines. They’re always pushing you to take on more hours and tasks. Most of the employees are newcomers, so management tends to take advantage of them. I eventually had to quit no one deserves to be treated that way.

LOL....keep calling my house with your voice automated system all you want, we won't be calling you back. Cellphone accounts, even if they go to collections don't hurt your credit, they'll try and manipulate you into thinking they do but it's just a scare tactic. They don't get paid unless they collect the debt so just don't, save yourself the money if you can put up with these goofs. If you want to just bend over and pay, offer a portion of the total, get it in writing and pay the smallest amount you can. Remember they don't get paid unless you pay so they'll take anything!

Run this is the most disorganized inconsistent employer I have worked for.

Constant pressure, and threats of having to work more hours.

Co workers can be nice. Supervisor only tracking KPI of staff. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
7:30-6. And they want you to work more.

Collections is a tough industry to be in but NCRI does its best to make your job easier. Decent paper to work and the people are amazing to work with. Management is dedicated and provides plenty of opportunities to be successful. Wages are competitive and there’s plenty of ways to earn a bonus. Management is very accommodating when it comes to schedules.
