i would go to the NDP office after school and on weekends and help them do phone calls, door to door, putting up signs and admin work. it depends on what they need me to do. I learn a bit about admin work for them but not that much. learned most it from high school already. the management was good and flexible with us. they were positive and enthusiastic. most of co-workers were in school and very social. I think only the physical labour was the hardest part of the job and that was it. the office was always full of life and enjoyable to be there itself.

would go door to door handing out flyers and giving information about the NDP party. I learned a lot about politics and the left side and had to arrange flyers and information pamphlets to distribute. It was a Punjabi oriented community because of the leader Jagmeet Singh, and therefore the Indian community of Brampton was our target audience.  It was a volunteering job, but I was expected to be on time and finish my role, as everyone had important duties.

I know I know it's very annoying to have someone ring your doorbell or knock on the door around dinner time when you just want to eat maybe watch the news, while doing so and the quickest way to deal with the disruption is slamming the door. it was probably the only awful part of the job.

we would go there after school and they would drive us to a location not for and we would door to door asking if the want/had voted for NDP if they wanted to vote we would give them flyers abut NDP

well, they have coffee but you have to pay for it and it's not great. And they have no sugar or creamer. If they do get the creamer for say like a special event it is the fake creamer that does not taste right no how.

It was great volunteering here because of the great engagement I had with my community. I was able to acquire skills that are important such as communication skills and more.

I handed out NDP pamphlets to home across Brampton which was accomplished by walking to every house in the M section, and giving those residents pamphlets to help support the NDP.

Kind environment, everyone passionate about what they do, offered free food after a hard days work, be prepared to work in a team as that  is a huge part of this role. 

it was an good experience and helped my communication skills tremendously. Would go again. Very interacting which made me go outside of my box  and helped me gain confidence

This was a fantastic place to work. Met many kind, hard working people. Job culture is excellent. Can be challenging but is also very fulfilling. Would highly recommend
