It's a great organization to work for, one get rewarded,appreciated. management won't hesitate to move someone up if qualified and desirving.Trainings and safety is great at this place.I worked for this organization for 8 years and enjoyed a every moment, its my bad luck that my family circumstances made me leave. will back if get a Chance again in my lifetime.Benefits are great ,Wages were little low,hours of work were enough.

Fast paced good job.
I must say that I learned a little bit, but Calgary Management made a point of keeping me down, and very Unknowledgeable so I Wouldn’t
advance.

Management in Calgary is the worst I have ever seen at any company ever. I have worked for a senior geologist with EnCana Corporation. That would be appalled at the treatment of the employees Tuboscopes, Calgary operation.

Work-life balance is nonexistent. You only get every second weekend off. 10 hour days on average. Very little communication in the field. Unorganized work, standing around and hoping not to get in the way of equipment operators. Helping stack pipe with the use of lumber can be a lot of waiting around. Pushing and pulling pipe to organize/prepare it for stacking.

Leaving and not having to go back!

Having to be there every day !

Your just a number and replaceable!

Work like a dog that is not appreciated!

Overall not a bad place to work. Pleasant coworkers make the day go by in a flash. Interesting duties make the day never dull. The only downside to working there was the management they did not know how to properly do their own jobs.

I learned alot and experienced different positions/experiences. First steps into the oilfield and learned about other fields of oilfield like Service Rigs and some of their procedures.

Ok place to work get the hrs .
co-workers in plant were great but every job site always has a Donkey it's expected.
It's a job and gets person experience but not a place realy important using on a resume unless applying for same type job anyplace else useless experience for any other industrial job.

Manager was fair in his dealings with staff. Safety meetings were regularly held and there was a safety committee. I was able to maintain a level on cleanliness while I was there.

most days were busy and time flew by, all the co-workers were great to work with, managers were managers. The hardest part of workng here was that over time was forced and were all over the place.

It is a great company for some one starting in the oil industry. Not a lot of room for advancement and reluctant to train and certify unless absolutely required.
