A typical day at work would be; receive a couple full shipments of trucks and unload all of them and put them aside to work on each shipment one by one carefully checking if there is proper count and storing them. Then, we would clean up after every shipment completed to work on the next. While working with the shipments we would receive a couple orders. After receiving the orders I would check our inventory list to see if the item is in stock and marked it off on the order of its location and gave the order back to the shipping department unless we already have the item in the shipment.If we have not completed all shipments, we would work on them the next day.
I learned to how to pay attention to detail due to multiple model #s having similar model #s. I also learned that teamwork is key because doing this alone would take a long time.
My first day at NTN, everyone welcomed me in with open arms and showed me where I went wrong on a couple things so that I would not make that same mistake.
The hardest part of NTN was maintaining proper count of inventory at first, but then I got used to it.
The most enjoyable part of NTN was my co-workers, everyone showed respect towards each other and that kept the good mood of everyone working.

Sad, sad, place. People there are great but I never thought I would see people sabotage their own work place just to look better. As far as i knew this place had no production goals set in stone, I mean you have your goals set  and there are things you cant control like machines not being operational or safe or even having materials to produce, this obviously affects you production. And when people that worked there dont like you or dont want you there the only thing they have to do is sabotage the machines to affect your production, so I am sorry but my integrity is first I am not sabotaging anything just to make more pieces than some one else. 

I don't like sneaky environments and I just wanted to get my work done but some people are miserable and have to make others environment just like that. They really need better trained managers not just people going up with seniority and a lack of professionalism and tact to deal with every day stress even anger management and basic communication skills.

I only worked as a co-op student in NTN, thus I don't think that my review should be weighed heavily. My point of view is that it has been an amazing experience. I started my day by collecting samples from production lines and measuring the diameter of the inner ring of the bearing and put data into reports to remind whether the machine needs a restart as the error measured grows. I have learnt a lot from my co-workers and supervisors who have helped me greatly throughout the 4-month-coop-period. Sometimes I have had some challenging tasks such as maintenance of the belts in the tension lab or sample moulding of rocker arm bearings, the technicians and workers were patient and I have been well-taught. The rating overall is fantastic.

Good company to work for. Unfortunately i had to leave due to family member health problem. also needed afternoon shift for baby daycare issue , company only had day shift.

Usually typical day will be unloading trailers, working on received containers, order picking and other warehouse duties.

Learned Reeving, gain knowledge of RF scanner and forklifts safety and fall protection . 

Co worker were excellent , we work as a team to achieve daily target.

Most enjoyable  part play basketball in lunch time 

Hardest part finding space to stack incoming containers during busy time.

I would not recommend this place for mid to senior management. They have a very high turnover rate. They run this company as a family owned business. The president basically does whatever he wants and the leadership team act as his henchemen and yes man. They have no value for their employees and berrate you on the slightest mistake you make. They have an inner club that is just toxic and creates a hostile environment for people.

Their Global headquarters are really great and they actually value people. 

Don't even know what to say about this place. Employees are treated poorly. It's noisy, dirty, and smells bad. Cold in the winter and hot as he11 in the summer.  You are looked at as just a number.  You are expected to run like a dog all day while management sits around and complains that people don't work hard enough while getting raises and bonuses every year leaving nothing for the people who actually do the work. After working here, Amazon warehouse is looking pretty good!

Hired as an operator to run production machinery. I thought a company that claims to make precision parts would be clean and well organized but it is not. Machines are 30 years old and broken and nobody bothers to fix anything.  Most of my training was spent washing floors and picking up garbage.  They like to hire people and let them go before passing probation to keep people from getting a raise. Never been treated so poorly by an employer. 

The machinery of the plant worked on the 60-s-70-s Japanese technology. Machines depreciated from Japan, sent to Us plant. Finally ended up at the Canadian operation. Very small amount of replacement parts and equipment to keep 25-35 years old machines running and keeping tight tolerance. The Japanese Operations Manager reported to Japan every day and fought with the Japanese top management for the plant hard daily. Finally he retired.

A regular day of work consisted of fast paced interesting labor that kept you on your toes. I learned lots about warehousing and production lines. Management was family orientated and helpful. Co-workers were also willing to help others and had fun on the production floor doing what they did. The hardest part of the job was the level of production speed, but it was also the most enjoyable part of the job.

There was too much politics among the management which caused demotivation, confusion and chaos among employees. Too much nepotism and facourites.  Employees need recognition.
