Always behind schedule, scrambling to get everything done by month end for invoices.  Constantly working overtime to meet unrealistic scheduling goals and when you tell management that you are being swamped, just work more hours is the answer you get.  They brag about the work life balance with working 4 10 hr days to have time with your family except the never happens.  I f you want to be under the gun all the time trying to finish the circ seam on a vessel while the truck is waiting to take it to the oven and the QC guy is doing his final check as you are welding, this is the place for you.  Don't make a mistake though, or you get the heavy pen.

Learned to manage a diverse group of employees.  Staff were good to work with.  The hardest part of the job was meeting the high profit margins required by management each month - the employees worked as hard as they could within safety standards but it never seemed to be good enough for management.  Was hard to keep the morale up among the employees when they were not recognized for the hard work they had done - it didn`t seem to matter to management whether they met, exceeded or didn`t meet the targets each month - nothing seemed good enough.

This job was an absolute disaster. The management is corrupt and the procedures are double standard. It was the worst experience of my working career. They overlooked dangerous situations and fired people for other causes if they hurt themselves. It was by far the most stressful working environment. I would cry if anyone I loved had to work there. Avoid this company at all cost for your own

Very stressful place you can't trust management,lead hands will stab you in the back and if you upset any of them the will let you go with no reason whatsoever ,the wage is the lowest I have seen at about $10-$15 hr less then most . Safety/hr is a joke and will.just give you attitude if you question anything. Best bet stay away from this place they are a joke.

It started off ok, but once another manager came in. It was all favoritism, work didn't become fair, unless you had become friends or close the boss or HR. Hours, wages, or any advantages were never given to anyone who was there to make a genuine living. Current management, is absolutely management material. 

They expect a  lot of work, dangling a carrot in front of you - saying there will be lots of work - then they lay you off, and post the same position the next month. Terrible benefits package and pay.  Not worth the drive if you don't live in town. Would not work for this company again.

NWP Industries has great employees and a good product range. 
The atmosphere between employees was amassing, but upper management had no real connection to said employees after the Tara Vest takeover.

Nice easy paced work place with a great crew of guys. 

Good social club program and indoor work is awesome. 

Tools are easy to come by with a well stocked tool crib meaning personal tools don't get destroyed.


Zero advancement opportunities unless you've got no gag reflex. Toxic workplace culture where your coworkers will stab you in the back for the price of a Big Mac. Don't ever stop working, or you'll be reprimanded!

Do not work here. They pay very unfairly as in low. They are a poor employer in general. They supply the bare minimum of safety equipment. Often you don’t have access to the proper tools, PPE, and other necessities as it’s all locked away
