I came to work here for the Christmas rush and it was decent pay ($16.75/hr) but my first day of training was terrible. No one told me I had to sign in to something or even where to sign in, no one told me about work orders or when breaks would be, NOTHING! 

They expect you to learn everything asap, I was switching between so many different tasks, I'd always forget all the numbers and procedures because they teach me something new too often where it doesn't stick. 

The office workers are worthless, they can't do their job right, I did not receive any pay stubs, and when I asked for my previous ones they told me they sent it in the mail, and I never received them ever, they never told you they had them & to pick them up during the shift. 

Getting days off is 10x harder than it has to be and if you request time off they don't even tell you if it has been approved. They also don't even remember they gave you the day off, they forget you aren't coming in and they ask where you were...?? 

They are so unorganized it blows my mind, they always run out of things, and no one refills anything, everyone leaves messes everywhere. There has been garbage in the cubbies and on top of a vending machine for 2 months...probably longer. No one does their job properly. Also, my pay got decreased in the new year ($14.00/hr) so for me staying was pointless when other warehouses pay better.

They can also fire you instantly if they are unhappy with you doing something, if they see you on your phone you will get fired or sent home if they see it more than once. Be careful they will fire you over a lot. 

If you want a quick temporary job when they are paying higher, try it because they don't respect you. If you want to climb the ladder in the company, don't do it here unless you want to fix their mistakes.

It was decent pay for the 3 months but stressed me out SO much where I couldn't even sleep.

A typical day at works generally starts off with a 5min team meeting where the management instructs all the workers on the tasks which lie ahead for the rest of the day. Following that everyone goes to their respective stations and we sort out packages. At the end of the day we all clean the warehouse up so that it is not untidy the next morning. Through this experience I learned how to repetitively get used to doing the same thing for a whole day without getting bored, I learned how to make everyday a special one instead of dreading my work, although I am an individual who would rather do a variety of different tasks everyday. In my opinion I think that the management was very well organised, in the sense that they had very good communication with all the workers. The workplace culture was most definitely very hardworking and labour heavy, you could see how hard everyone works in that warehouse. Like I said, the hardest part of the job was always staying on my feet nonstop, even for lunch the benches we sat on were not the comfiest however that was only a minor setback. The most enjoyable part of the job was the way that the whole company felt like another family, everyone was friendly even while working, they had many BBQ's which allowed us to constantly feel appreciated.

Basic salary and no real benefits. Warehouse staff makes only a dollar less than the office staff whose position is considered "Skilled", and froklift orperators makes more than even office staff. 

But does have a good work/life balance. Does not ask you to stay over time on a weekly basis, only duering sale periods when everyone rotates and on a voluntrary basis.

Monthly social events in appreciation for the staff, but differs from building site to building site, so no real standard. (Ex: one building only does pot lucks or "sales", while another does full on lunches for its employees paid for by the company). 

Absolutely no job security, you will never be provided a job perfomance review unless a team leader or higher, so you will never know if you're doing good or bad, which can be used to dismiss you anytime. High turnover rate. 

Great for ganing experience but nothing else, keep searching for another job in another company. Leave as fast as you can. If you are applying for a forklift position and have experience, you can negotiate salary.

- They want u punching in to each unique task you do to track productivity. Admirable, but they don't keep a printed list of task codes, or how to enter them for new staff. Never made one when I asked.
- Not enough restrooms for men. So if occupied, you'll waste 4-8min in travel, and a supervisor will chide you.
- Shipping/receiving is very busy 4/5 of the week, too cluttered to operate a forklift at times, and they don't teach the reg workers to avoid forklifts. Same in the aisles, even if you honk. Very stressful.
- I was taught the basics and nothing else. My trainer would be off 1-2 days/wk, and there was no substitute. Affected my performance, and the Team Lead criticized me for it. Had ME train new ppl, in spite of my limited knowledge.
- If there aren't other viable forklift operators in your dept, they'll depend on you incessantly, and on a tight schedule.
- Not enough machines available.
- The team leads will not reprimand or punish some workers and just give a blanket warning to everyone during staff meetings.

I worked here as a General Labourer through a Temp agency. Poor pay, but worth the experience. Simple job. Could be considered a monotonous job but the people there were great and the environment is not restricting. They ship primarily clothing and miscellaneous  clothing items so labour is not overly intensive. That being said some boxes can be 35-55 lbs but average around 15lbs. I did work as a temp, so do keep that in mind. In terms of experience, you indirectly learn the ins-and-outs of a logistic company and get to work closely with others. Not much required in terms of foreknowledge, quite a simple job. They host company lunches on holidays, and they seem to treat there full-time employee's with respect and they value there dedication. I had an amazing experience working at NLS, for the past 2 summers!

I had the chance to meet and work with some great people, the client had many challenges but that's part of working for a 3PL.

The biggest challenges were internal, leadership at most buildings felt that people could be treated like numbers. The personal interactions became transactional, people only wanted to protect themselves and as a result morale is very poor.

There could be a great opportunity to change the morale but the Executive team needs to open the dialogue with the front line staff and shift supervisors.  The different levels of mid level and senior managers, Operations Mgrs, General Managers & Directors, have created an insulated space where problems are covered up, quick fixes or band aids applied to problems.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
In starting KPI system(units counting as per hour work) was stressful for me because i was unable to cover per hour units average but after some time i was used to walking and working so it was not stressful

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is safe and friendly everyone is very friendly and they like celebrating every cultural functions of the employees culture who are working there as i am Indian we celebrated holi this year

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was responsible for managing pallets at placing them safely on racks

if you are exploring the desktop or helpdesk role at this place Please avoid, the technology is very far behind, there is no structure no process no proper policies. The VP is always on the power trip. The manager is in UK. you will not be given access to AD or INTUNE at all during probation, but the manager and VP will ask you to do tasks that requires you to have access. convoluted and back wards system. 

travel between warehouses are not properly compensated, expectations are not laid out correctly, there is no chance of growth nor there are any career advancement opportunities. If you have other options for employment, please seriously consider it. 

Confused IT leaders, a total mess. Pathetic IT management.
No salary hike, employees are underpaid, very low compensation.
No job security can be fired anytime without any notice.
Impatient leaders who don't trust their employees.
No support provided in terms of software and high configuration devices.
No guidance by managers and no 1-1 discussion.
Rude directors and managers who don't listen to their employees.



This is the worst company . First of all, they will interview you for 4-5 times, will waste your 2months in conducting interviews. Then they will hire you saying we are hiring you for our new location. Even before your probation ends, they will come to you saying we are sorry, we are terminating you because we are not starting work at new location. Is this the way companies work? Without any notification they terminate you. The staff is ill mannered.  U will see favouritism and sycophants in company. Worst experience in this company. Never waste your time here. Look for good companies who respect their employees
