Nationwide Security is a great place to work.

The company was founded on core family values, and the management team at Nationwide extend this tradition by continuing to treat all employees as family. I have worked for various companies over the years, and can honestly say that this company is different. They recruit, interview and efficiently schedule and assign personnel to key positions based on skill set.

Staff are mentored and supported by an outstanding management team from supervisors that take ownership right up to the President.
In a volatile industry such as ours, incidents are handled efficiently, and corrective measures are quickly put in place to mitigate re-occurrence. 

I’m quite proud to be a part of this.

So, worked for this company for a few months, everything was great until I told the owner Murdock that I don't want to work at the site. He got triggered and told me to return the uniform (I didn't tell him that I was quitting) then goes on to say that you will not be getting your pay cheque deposited but instead you have to come in person to get your pay cheque and that only if you return your uniform (I already paid for the uniform and never said that I am not giving back the uniform). All in all a very bad experience and a company that I would advise others to stay away from.

P.s this company deserves a poor rating because of all the fake reviews it has.

Admitting Visitors to the grounds, CCTV Monitoring and reporting, Communicating via specialist equipment, Completion of security checks, including patrol of site, Number plate checks, Liaising with other staff members, Other gate house duties as required. Patrolling of several sites, Working in a team to ensure safety, Locking/Unlocking sites, First line Alarm Response to Customer’s Sites

What is the best part of working at the company?
Family run company. Very pleasant environment to work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Richmond Hill area; Commute was a challenge. Pay schedule didn't align with industry standards.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very good; enjoyable experience. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Standard; Meet with clients, assist with staffing and training.

•	Denied entrance to the building to unauthorized persons.
•	Secured all doors in the office and main building after hours.
•	Inspected equipment, structures and materials to identify the cause of errors and defects.
•	Monitored central alarm system for fire, intrusion, and duress alarms and responded when needed.
•	Monitored and reported suspicious activities to local authorities

I am also currently employed as a security guard at a luxurious condominium where patrols, monitoring, and parking regulations must be enforced. Since the condo, I am required to issue parking tickets for illegally parked vehicles. I think this is a job where we can help the community

Have been working with company from almost 2 years. It’s a great company to work. Office management is very good. They value there employees and the best thing is you get so many benefits bonus pay, insurance, dental care gifts on Christmas and new year.

Management are good people. They are available to address your concerns usually immediately. Hours are flexible and overall a good company to start your career as a security guard.

I have been with nationwide for some time in have been doing Freeman st market for a while I also travel to Scunthorpe every Christmas on my moped am willing to  travel to anywhere within reason

It was a good experience since I met lots of new guys in my team and the great residents that I was meeting everyday and gaining new experience from the security team and learning new tips and techniques.
