Natures formulae is a company with a lot of issues that will require a rework of the management team, culture, and the technology that drives the company. 

I have worked several positions and have found the role of the production worker to have the least freedom to grow and learn of all positions as a normal day is relatively simple line based production work with no deviation, aiding other lines or positions that require help is frowned upon and can lead to disciplinary action even when approved by your direct management.

In general this leads to most employees and lower management giving up on promotion or learning new skills which creates a stagnation  of positions that usually causes new and driven employees to leave early on before they can improve themselves or the company.

Management encourages this behavior through disciplinary actions and by setting the default culture of the production area to be crushing to many workers who generally wish to improve production. 

There is also widening split in the various sections with the extracts and front office workers receiving better working conditions as well as generally better pay. 

The office also has its own issues that include burnout from juggling too many projects with various companies as well as a disconnect from the production  area which can cause production to halt or be late due to issues that could have been foreseen with a greater understanding of the complete process. 

The company has also had issues moving into the digital age with many processes still paper based or hand keyed into aging systems that can cause issues with production runs can cause unnecessary stress to workers of all levels. The production machinery is well maintained for its age but is slowly breaking down with very little investment into newer or safer systems for the employees.

In general the other employees are why you would choose to stay at Natures Formulae as they are a bunch of fun characters with varied skillset who are excited and willing to help when issues that they can help with happen.

If you are applying here I suggest that you look at the older reviews as many of them are still correct in 2024.



First and foremost, do not even think of working here. This place is not worth your time.

Was hired as a Shipper, and given little to no background as to what the job would entail. The interview I had gone through was nothing more than checking to see if I was alive; they asked me very little about myself. After being offered the job via email, I wasn't welcomed to the team or given any sort of orientation, just a start date and time. 

That should've been my first indication that the management is completely out of sorts. 

When I arrived for my first shift I was corralled into my workplace without being introduced to anyone or anything. I was given incomplete Tax Forms to sign, they were missing the second pages. They gave me poor fitting scrubs to wear, and was told that I had to work there for a month before getting proper work clothes. That was a major red flag that this place goes through new people like crazy. 

Nature's Formulae is one of those places that runs by hiring bodies and replacing them like batteries. They don't care about finding the right people to do the job, keeping them happy and giving them a sense that they have longevity. 

Other things of note if none of what I have said has warned you off yet:

-The cloying smell of materials
-Disgusting gym style bathrooms with no doors leading into them
-Messy lunchroom with fridges stuffed with forgotten lunches
-Can't grow a bear or you have to wear a face net
-Have to wear scrubs even though you're working a warehouse job
-Way too many people working in a relatively small facility

Natures Formulae is a great place to work for those who value a friendly and supportive team environment. Co-workers are approachable and collaborative, creating a positive workplace culture. The pay is fair, and the company offers good extended benefits.
One of the highlights is the Fun Committee, which organizes enjoyable activities roughly once a month to bring employees together. Additionally, there's a monthly "Cake Day" to recognize birthdays.
Management is open to employee input, actively seeking ways to improve processes and procedures. This, coupled with a culture of recognition for hard work, makes employees feel valued. The company also encourages skill and education upgrades, with funding provided, making it a great place to grow professionally.
The work itself is both challenging and rewarding, providing opportunities to learn and contribute meaningfully.
Like any workplace, there are areas for improvement. The job can be stressful at times, especially with tight deadlines that require effective time management. Communication between departments could also use some improvement to streamline workflows and avoid misunderstandings.
Natures Formulae is a great employer that balances a supportive work culture with professional development opportunities. While it has its challenges, the positives far outweigh the negatives, making it a rewarding place to grow and thrive.


I've only been working here for a month but everyone has just been so friendly and warm. They've really made an effort to make me feel welcome here. It didn't take long to settle in and feel like I've been here all along and my manager is already the best boss I've ever had - compassionate, patient, explains things well and very generous. She's a big proponent of continuing education in this role, too, and has no problem with giving me access to resources I need and the time to make use of them. As long as I work my full-time hours I have a lot of flexibility for when I come in and leave as well.

I just have to be careful around here because there's so many snacks being shared, cake every month, and a couple of company-paid lunches that it's sometimes a struggle not to over-indulge. I honestly feel lucky to be here and not stuck in some toxic workplace just earning wages to be able to afford to keep existing but hating every moment of it. I understand that a lot of people have been replaced recently and there are lot of new faces around, myself included, but as far as I can tell it's been for the better and the company is on a great trajectory now.

This workplace is like walking into a toxic radioactive site. If the supervisors or leadhands do not like you, they will make sure it’s known to you by making you feel unwanted and unappreciated. Management  will switch you from one department to the other without any fair warning or even any reasonable explanation, or simply because management doesn’t like having you in that department. If you raise an issue that you have within the company, management will turn the entire situation right back onto you making you look like the bad person for raising an issue, and then making you feel guilty and dumb after the fact. This company gives advancements only to the VERY few individuals they like, no one else ever has a chance to move up in their position. 
At some times it was so out of hand, I caught co workers in manager and supervisory positions gossiping and bad mouthing fellow co workers that were not at the same position level as them.

They make you travel all the way the work, just to tell you there is no product and no work, and send you home before you even clock in. Constantly losing contracts because their products are contaminated or shoddily made! (Through no fault of production workers themselves.)
I met one supervisor that was amazing, and my co-workers were fantastic. They are full of backwards procedures and old equipment, then get mad at teams when product is not made efficiently. Overall not the worst job, if you don't mind being constantly talked down to, and ruining your muscles and tendons doing tasks that machines are made to do. When there is a shortage of work for the company, they don't actually guarantee full-time, and make you use your vacation pay to make up the difference.

Natures formulae is great place to work. Like any job there are some aspects that are more or less pleasant but I enjoy my position at natures formulae, and feel management do well at matching employees with positions that make the most of their attributes. The best part of the job is the variety and team atmosphere. The worst part is the winter slow season, however management keeps us working with cleaning and organization projects. I feel the benefits are pretty good comparatively with other benefits I’ve had. There is potential for raises and bonuses and If you show up and do your best, your efforts will be recognized accordingly.

Natures formulae is a great place to work where you get opportunity to work with another people as a team members to finish the projects. I have learned many skills which will be beneficial in my future. Management team is quite helpful . Its fun working with people from different countries. Everyone respect each other. If someone is sick they understand the situation and allow them days off. Overall, this place is great.

I really enjoying working here. They understand everyone' situations and problems. Almost every week they give little treats to everyone in lunch room.
