The job is actually enjoyable, and it is quite intuitive and easy to follow. The co-workers are nice enough and actually very helpful especially for new hires. Management, however, has unrealistic standards and is needlessly aggressive. It's a mixture of hazing and trial by fire—so long as you follow the management's expectations and directions, it should be easy enough. That being said however, management has all these expectations despite there being no real and comprehensive training process for new hires. Often the set of instructions which management offers to new hires are contradictory in nature. I would not recommend working here.

Everyday at Neon was different, our manager would have us learning and doing different things all the time. It was hectic but I was able to quickly learn how to order stock/ send out special orders with our Skew system, I learned how to organize the vans and doc martens, I learned how to do cash and some merchandizing. 
The hardest part of the job was sometimes we had twelve hour shifts with only a few staff members, the most enjoyable part of the job were my co-workers and the people who came into the store. With the amazing co-workers getting through those long shifts wasn't all that bad.

Overall a great and supportive team, extremely helpful. Despite having good people, management fell short - especially upper management. A very “my way or the highway” attitude mixed with unrealistic expectations while not providing a real/proper training process. Often left to figure it out but reprimanded when not done “correctly”.  It can be a confusing work place if you are looking for guidance and to grow in your career -  they dispose of people quite easily. I would not recommend working here.

It was a very nice place to work at. Even though some days were really busy and you didn't stop running around the store, your team mates were always willing to help. Everyone will always make its best effort to find what the costumer was looking for. Nice workplace, and a very cool team!

Time flew by and I had no troubles making sales, and the customers were super cool.
Everyone was friendly there except the manager was the female version of micheal Scott. 
Doesn’t matter because the company was shut down in Ottawa’s location.

Co-workers and manager were easy to get a long with, if your looking for a solid place to learn retail business and build customer relationships. Overall isn’t a bad place to start just know it can get really busy.

The interactions with the clientele were pleasant. The demand of the staff difficult for most. Management was not very forthcoming with directive or training.

Smooth logistics, a multitude of stores, brand flagships and several complex, multi-level online e-commerce websites with great success.
