A typical day at work is productive and engaging, with a good mix of routine tasks and new challenges. The role encourages responsibility and independence, which helps build confidence and strong professional habits. Each day offers opportunities to contribute meaningfully while learning something new.
Through this position, I learned how to manage priorities, adapt to changing needs, and communicate effectively across teams. The experience helped strengthen my problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills in a real business environment.
Management is supportive and approachable, with clear expectations and a focus on results. Leadership provides guidance while trusting employees to take ownership of their work. The most enjoyable part is gaining hands-on experience and feeling valued for your contributions.

The company promotes a “family” culture, but my experience did not reflect that. There appeared to be favoritism within the workplace, and concerns raised by employees were not always handled professionally or fairly.

The workload was often unrealistic for the level of compensation provided, with employees expected to take on responsibilities far beyond their job title. Opportunities for advancement and meaningful raises also seemed very limited.

Communication and management style could at times feel unprofessional, and the overall environment became mentally exhausting due to the pressure, workload, and workplace dynamics. Employee turnover was also quite high during my time there.

While I gained experience from the role, I believe the company would benefit from improving employee support, workplace professionalism, compensation, and overall culture.

Nerval is a family run business- every decision you need to make will be made for you.  Your input is rarely valued; in fact, sharing your experience will often lead to the opposite result.  Salary is well below industry standard with commissions and incentives never being paid out.  Questionably unethical business practices can be found in multiple areas, and sometimes you will be asked to do unethical things by management.   I highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. 

If you're looking for a workplace to be laid back and get paid mediocrely, work at Nerval. There is no sense of urgency, competitiveness, or motivation from most employees. Not only this, there is really not that much room for growth in terms of team management, collaborative work, opportunities for career advancement within the company. You will stagnate and not be able to hone your skills as quickly as it would be in a faster-paced company cultivating sharp professionals. However, it is a great place to start as an entry-level employee looking for a minimum wage and mediocre job. 

Management operates through constant manipulation, targeting both employees and clients without hesitation. Lies are used repeatedly to control situations and benefit those at the top. The goal is clearly personal gain, achieved by underpaying employees and taking advantage of anyone within reach. The level of greed on display is staggering and impossible to ignore.

In a lot of cases working with this organization I experienced duties that were not condusive to a Sr. Management role. I was hired as National Sales Manager but would be asked to sweep the Warehouse floor. 
Would be given direction on various issues but then redirected the next day. Management micromanaged every detail. Could not finalize decisions without authority. Constrained Sales activity.

I loved the work fast paced work environment and being at different job sites,dealing with customers and clients .
the management was terrible poor organisation within the  administration teams, order pickers, and installation teams, the supervisors were not team players and very stereotypical, racist people 

The team is very supportive, the environment is very calm and focused, and the company is poised for a lot of growth. Due to it being a growing company, some of the processes are still a little loose and that can become frustrating at times, but the management team is working towards implementing new systems and processes which will make life easier for everyone in the company.

Low pay, terrible management, lack of vision, micro-management and terrible work culture. Work culture was so toxic that it led me into depression. You can hold a position in the office and the next day the president can tell you to go sweep in the back. The good reviews here are most definitely from friends and family members. Stay away

Too many managers and not enough workers.  Turnover over rate is weekly if not daily.   Managers don't trust employees to do any tasks unsupervised.   No chance for advancement as most of the employees are related to management
