What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing! There is NO good part of working for this company. The only one sliver of good is knowing the people who are actually qualified are taking care of vulnerable people. Unfortunately not everyone that is sent out has the required qualifications. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Walking in the door everyday not knowing what the "rules of the day" will be. There are different rules for different people. It's a family run business and it's run like a dictatorship. If you don't get on board  with their policies that are not all above board you are either terminated or you are harassed and bullied by the family daily. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
TOXIC! TOXIC! TOXIC! Very stressful not knowing if you'll have a job one day to the next regardless of how long you've been there. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful. Uncertain. Scary. Toxic.

Everything starts out good. Then goes very bad. I know many people who complain but too afraid to speak up so they just leave.
Owners and management are sneaky. No communication. Always sending staff to jobs who have no experience or training. Lying to staff about bonuses and pay. Pay always late or wrong or bounced checks. Cares more about money than client or staff safety. Management never in office but harass you non stop off working hours and all hours of hte day and night. They dont tell you its family run so you are always working between family. NO office staff ever want to stay more than a few months because they are treated so bad and paid awful. Owner always complains of the company having no money but always taking trips and vacations while he pays minimum wage with no thanks, no recognition and no respect to the staff.

Long probation period. DO NOT get paid for being oncall for stat holidays. Or the bonus for oncall like mentioned. Inadequate training - then get thrown into the deep end and expected to thrive. Poor support from other staff. Mislead on actual job and possibility for job advancement.  Position doesn't pay you for the inconvenience of the stress of the oncall. I would recommend working anywhere but here.

Management is family and they act like they dont have money but they take trips etc. 

Run, dont walk away from them.

Nexim is the place where you start you career and once you leave, you can look back and see how truly awful that place is. The management has favorites and really don't know what they're doing. I would like to say that they're trying but they don't even let the evening staff trade shifts. For a company of 30-60 back office staff, they love to look at their staff like they're disposable. If you have the opportunity to work somewhere else, I recommend it. They won't care about you from the day you join to the day you leave

Nexim is a nice place to work because of their professionalism, they place hygiene as first priority and make sure staff follows the PPE rules in staying safe and protected, thou their wages is not too okay but their working conditions is accommodating. Their administration is prompt and precise in solving staff issues and their schedules are flexible to plan with. My advice is for Nexim to maintain its standard and increase the hourly wages of workers.

During certain times of the year, it can get very stressful, but this is only temporary and doesn't last long.

Overall, I am learning a lot about healthcare and the challenges many people faces to maintain quality care for their loved one. I am privileged to be in a position where I can direct, shape my team to make a positive impact on others' lives.

My typical day at work is exciting and productive because work with the residents is always fun and i have learned a lot from them. The management team has always been great and they always make me feel like i belong. They also make me to understand the workplace culture. The hardest part of the job is not being at work everyday because i enjoy working with my colleagues and the company.

They made everyone felt like a family. And the flexibility was awesome. I’ll strongly recommend 😊

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I never had any stress. Just some glitch on the app sometimes. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly. Welcoming. Good people 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Nothing much. Apply for shifts and make sure you’re there on time.

If I talk about work place experience than it is very good and friendly environment. If you have any difficulties in their management then they will solve it within a day. So, their management team are so active and helpful. I found their personal application called 'open sim sim' very helpful to get notify about shifts. Overall experience is very good and comfortable to work with them.

This company is very frustrating to work with due to their lack of professionalism. I have had to fight for my paycheques, and overall just an awful experience. In all my years of nursing I have never encountered such a disorganized company that will throw you in the loop regarding receiving what you are owed. If you have any other job options, steer clear of this agency!
