This company is run like a cartel. They demand that you work like a robot, and put the company before your life. During the pandemic, they laid off half of their workforce, including the service technicians and took advantage of the federal employee wage subsidy program while generating record profits. The customer service department is small and overloaded with minimal training.
This is the type of company that would rather throw a pizza party than give raises. They also couldn't care less about the customer.

Management team is bias. 
Work invironment is not pleasant for new employees. 
One person  is expected to be doing the job of 3 people. 
Computer system is very old fashion and manual.
Lack of tasks details acknowlehement of employees from management, yet very yet demanding and inconsidetate.
But flexible morning start work schedule.

It is a fast-paced work environment, which is expected of a production lab. There is always something to do, especially when larger shipments come in. People are friendly and love to interact when appropriate to do so. The pay is good and an opportunity to do overtime is there if you choose to. The only pitfall would be that work should be distributed more evenly amongst the people there. Overall satisfied and give many thanks for the opportunity to work and learn among everyone there.

Nikon Canada offered me an exciting job. I was give many responsibilities which made me happy but overwhelmed. the HR was so scare and the management was so wrong that people acted like they were in jail. the culture was so negative with all the lay offs made it worse. Overall i think Nikon Canada needs a big big change in management and management style. Also the training was terrible because they overload people.

I worked at Nikon some years ago,  

The environment was fantastic with great managers.  Most of the staff had excellent relationships with each-other and fostered a great level of team work. 

Moving up within the company was attainable and further supervisors had been willing to work with associates that wanted to further develop themselves.

It’s a great place to work . We had a great team, enjoyed the lunches the activities. Being there for 18 years was like home to me. I will certainly miss Nikon❤️

Very busy production facility, I enjoyed my supervisor and my Manager very much over the years.  We worked together well.  I was well compensated and had a good work schedule with some overtime if I wanted it, or needed it.
Good people, good retirement plan, great company!

Staff was very warm and welcoming.  Strong and effective communication between each department. Management was excellent. Everyone was treated as an equal. I felt motivated to come into work as each day was different and the job culture was simply amazing.

Experience at Nikon was so stressfull. No teamwork between employees. Management is  very poor . Cellphones are tolerated. Tardiness are tolerated. Employees can sick call anytime. Too many employees low production. Need a new management.
