Norcan Fluid Power

My main focus was dealing with accounts payable as well as reception, filing and daily banking. I also entered all of the packing slip items in the program they used.  Other duties involved training in their head office in Burnaby BC. During my training I was taught how to deal with customers in a professional manner. 

Norcan Fluid Power was a professional and productive workplace.  I enjoyed all the staff and management. 

The hardest part of the job would have been calling the vendors who were very slow in paying their invoices. The training definitely helped me in those types of situations.

I enjoyed dealing with all of the customers and vendors.  I learned to deal with customers and vendors in a professional and kind manner.  Norcan Fluid Power was a very positive and enjoyable place to work.

Each day is filled with multiple challenges which can be time sensitive and the ability to multitask is imperative.

I have been given a great opportunity with Norcan Fluid Power, have had a lot of support from within the Company to be able to achieve at a high level.  

No two days seem the same as there are always new and different challenges to tackle, and while the pace is quick, for the most part everyone seems to be working towards the same goals.

Workplace is professional, but also laid back, a great place to bring your skills and showcase your talent.  

Great company to work for! I had little experience and I had no idea what was next for me in life. With the right positive attitude Norcan invested in me with training and guidance to help me become successful. Now I have a great career with amazing opportunities to progress higher in the company.

Plenty of experience at every branch and different key product focus based on industry in each location. Makes for a well rounded library of knowledge and everyone seems eager to help and proud to teach

Standard shipping receiving job, good working hours, Monday to Friday, always had work to do and was always busy. Good people to work with and work for

at norcan my print reading skills grew greatly. All other shop personnel were great to work with. Hardest Part of the job was being sent into the field with minimal experience.
