North American Transport Driving Academy

A typical day at North American Transport Driving Academy runs from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM in a structured and fast-paced environment. The role helped me develop strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Management is highly supportive, and weekly meetings with other branches ensure clear communication and continuous improvement across the organization.

The workplace culture is inclusive and respectful, with a diverse team representing different backgrounds, including Black, Indian, and Arab colleagues, fostering a positive and discrimination-free environment. The most challenging aspect of the job is meeting tight deadlines in a time-sensitive setting, but this also builds efficiency and discipline.

The staff are welcoming, communicative, dedicated and hardworking to ensure that we are training individuals not only be safe commercial transport driver, but building a new career.

It is unfortunate that upon my arrival at the company, that I came into a disaster (administrative, dysfunctional, and organizational) that was not completed by previous staff members. It is unfortunately, it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the batch. With the hard work, dedication and teamwork from not only the campus staff but all the branches teams that we now have a fully, functional, and organized facility!

I am fortunate to work with some amazing individuals that care for all our school, students and staff members! I've enjoyed learning more information about the commercial transport industry and building my knowledge with the assistance of my co-workers.


Its easy to find the dirt on anyone, being the one to find gold is what makes the difference. Working for this company comes with its own set of challenges but in no way is the experience disappointing.  If you are self motivated and pro active you will excel. This company is results and process orientated, anyone who has difficulty in this environment will have the same problems anywhere else. You can always count on support as long as you ask, but don't ask the same questions time and time again as this is not indicative of a self reliant and intellectual individual. I wouldn't recommend this company to everyone only the ones who seeks excellence in themselves. 

I have lots to say about this company, however not much of it fit for public consumption. I did not have a good experience with the representative of this organization and personally felt the experience to be very unprofessional, and that's putting it lightly. As a business owner/representative, you cannot go around treating people poorly, especially in a small town and even smaller industry.  

Talk is cheap so just go on the google reviews and see the arrogance, folks. "We don't know this person" and all the rest of the defensiveness and blame they give as excuses.  

Westchester Staffing is another associated company. Careful.

The co-workers are great, caring and supportive folks.  Everyone strives to ensure the students achieve their goals of license upgrades and access to new career pathways.

The owner is not supportive of his staff and is often hostile, rude and unsupportive. The owner can often be heard on conference calls with staff cursing, yelling profanities and degrading others.  It is a very negative environment.

Pays are regular and on time but you never receive scheduled raises or upgraded training as promised.

He does care deeply about the students and their successes.

Admin and instructors are great people with a positive outlook and create a good working atmosphere.
The owner however is an abusive, arrogant loudmouth and treats everyone like a piece of dirt. 
No respect for employees, their personal time and the pay is on the low side for what is expected, especially the drivers for sister company called Westchester staffing. 
Not a great place to work, the owner has no scruples and is morally and ethically corrupt.

Working as a Branch Operations Manager at North American Transport Driving Academy was a rewarding experience. A typical day involved overseeing branch operations, supporting staff, and ensuring students received quality service. I developed strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Management was supportive, and the workplace culture was professional and team-oriented. The busiest periods could be challenging, but the most enjoyable part was working with a great team and helping students achieve their goals.

I believe the Academy’s efforts are there. However, they do not believe that anyone can help. Very, very frustrating to walk on egg shells trying to put forward a professional idea and or plan 
I just do not think that’s possible with the NATDA’s attitude!

If you are desperate for a job, the management is desperate for staff and will hire you but don't think they will keep you longer than your probation period ends. Empty promises and being berated by the uneducated. The owner will go on rants over the smallest error, management will throw you under the bus to make themselves look better. No benefits, abusive environment, not worth it.

absolutely no work life balance expected to be available 24/7. management will change things then when it doesn't work out the way they wanted they will yell at you for it even though they are the ones that made the changes. The turn over rate here is unreal. they cant keep staff because of the owner. there needs to be some big changes here or they will continue to lose staff.
