Northern Life

This job was exhilarating. You were always travelling somewhere, going to meet someone... it was simply incredible to work there. I learned a lot about how the newspaper business works and even a few grammar tips that I wasn't aware of previously. The management was wonderful, everyone, including my co-workers, were so friendly and inviting. The hardest part of the job was getting everything done on time, but I also learned to deal with it all in a more timely manner. I loved every single part of this placement job; but sadly had to leave because it was only for the summer.

Over all I have 50 papers. I come from a large family, with 5 siblings. we devied them up evenly so we all share equil responsably. Each haveing 10 papers every Tuesday and Thursday. I deliver them acoreding what time I work that day. For example if I work in the evening i will get them done at 9am. We do colections once a month and all my costermers are very nice and Ive formed exallent friendships with them. I like to do this job well I take my dogs for a walk.

Working at Northern Life had its good days and bad days. I learned responsibility over money and handling important documents. The hardest part was flyers around Christmas time because the papers got very heavy and the days were shorter and had less time to deliver your papers on time. The part i enjoyed was getting to know the customers who some really liked me and were very sad when i left

It was my first little job I applied myself too very early on. It taught me a lot about time management and gave me a sense of responsibility. It also showed me how to work with costumers and interact with other people. It also gave me the responsibility of handling money (for collections each month)

Relatively good job that I maintained for a number of years in my early teens. Never had any trouble with management at Northern Life, and it only required 1-2 nights a week of work. Unfortunately, the downside of such limited work hours was the pay was quite low, and after a certain amount of time I had to move on to different career opportunities.

Working for Northern life gave me the chance to meet wonderful new people. While having to do collections, I met all the wonderful people I delivered to. I enjoyed the wonderful talks that I would have with each of the customers I had.

Got home from schooling, when the to do the papers. Meet a bunch of wonderful people,  winter times was the hardest part with all of the snow, loved meeting and talking to people who are interesting and accommodating. The management was orderly and straight to the point.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, I would go out and walk for an hour or two delivering newspapers, I learned a lot of face to face interactions and gained a lot of different relationships with my customers

I was really young when I got the job and I didnt have any help. I had to use a little buggy that was difficult to use, especially in the winter. It took me a long time always having to go back to my house to pick up papers and there was a lot more on Thursdays which made it even longer.

I very much enjoyed this job, as it teaches essential skills such as responsibility, time management, handling money, and customer interaction.
