I've worked here for a number of years now and still love it as much as when I first started! (There are many long-term employees that have been here for 15+ years...which I believe is always a good sign for a workplace.) Very positive, upbeat and fun working atmosphere with a great team of employees and professional, approachable & supportive management. Work hard, be a self-starter / go-getter, enjoy & do your job well and you'll do just fine here.  Of any places I've worked (both private & public sectors), Northland has the most positive working environment I've ever experienced. People treat each other like family here, with respect and care. I would recommend working here to anyone that has drive and ambition. There's a lot one can learn from working in any position here, and always room for advancement into other areas as well.

A typical day here is slow, but you have lots to do. The issues are the multiple management styles coming from multiple managers. There are employees that have been here for years, and it creates a well educated but extremely narrow-minded culture. The HR department is unapproachable, as issues across the dealership are brought into conversation. You cannot heave any issues that money won't solve. Gossip travels very fast.

This all may have changed since I worked here, but leaving here removed a lot of stress. 

The building is beautiful, and you will always have the equipment you need, but you can get pushed out really easily from the senior staff.

Best part of the job is interacting with the people in the department that love what they do.

Let me start by saying if this is a short term job for you and you get hired in summer it is great because the money only. Favoritism and negativity cloud this dealership. If you are not a brown noser then you will be treated unfairly. Sales leads are always given unfairly and based on a popularity contest among managers. The management team besides or general sales manager and deal principal is atrocious. Poor attitudes, big egos, and poor intelligence make it very hard to advance and enjoy your job. Hardly any of the hr and employment standards are followed here.

Great place to work if your an apprentice. Journeyman are on flat rate and work does not flow smoothly enough to consistently make a full paycheck. Can only perform warranty if your dodge trained and there are alot of courses. Otherwise great people to work with and the northland group overall has good benefits.

Lively environment with a fun group of people. Truly enjoyed going to work and spending time with everyone. The work itself was enjoyable and it felt like you were always learning more and doing new tasks. Only downside is that you sometimes have to spend a bit of time outside in the winter and it can get pretty cold, but that's to be expected in Prince George

What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Made it easy to go to work. The wage was  reasonable.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I didn't have any stress working there.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
A bit loud with the music  but it works.

The most enjoyable part of the job would be the friendly environment, the hardest part of the job (although rare) would be dealing with the drama in the work place and management not dealing with it efficiently and appropriately.

Lots of room to grow , great co workers and bosses , everyone is easy to get along with .

I like our atmosphere most of the time i have good mentaurs, management is ok shop foreman could be better, hardest part of the job is waiting for service advisors to sell work.

when I was hurt on the job the company wouldn't help me out when I wasn't able to go back to work cause of my damaged leg that I received while working
