Northwest protection security services covered all bases of security services. Including, but not limited to, concert event security, residential concierge, industrial surveillance, loss prevention.

Respectively, each area of service has its own dynamic experience with optional work hours and possibility of advancement within each field.

Amongst being around fun and lenient management, their leadership roles guide you to become an industrious and competent individual both on and off the clock.

Like any security service positions, rules and regulations are the most difficult to comprehend, working just within law regulations it is vital to keep a sharp mind and keen sense of awareness when on duty.

With development of awareness, just the experience itself provides a sense of encouragement and confidence.

Working at Northwest Security is really only a SUMMER JOB. Don't get confused and start thinking their are a lot of opportunities to work after the summer come fall/winter/spring. I recommend finding a job for the rest of the time. The salary is always 12/hour with no way to go up even supervisors. Its more of a family company and people who walk in walk out with a uniform. Management are horrible sometimes but are good people. Job Culture is laid back. Trying to get fired from here is like trying to win the lottery it almost never happens. Overall its not bad to work here but its not the best.

Only one 15 minute break provided for an 8-hour shift.
Safety-wise they don't check on there staff.
Not willing to raise pay for events and activities. 
They give you one shift at the time and they are/or can be very rude.
Supervisors put you in a spot and then move you to another one 20 mins later.
Don’t care about employee wellbeing.
Not enough water provided at the events.
Great sites and great events.
Supervisors get more hours than the employee.
Staff get to be very unapologetic at times
Have canceled shifts the day before.
They send you home after very early like 6 hours shift.

super flexible shifts, great management overall on staff, friendly co-workers and free attendance to music festivals and other great opportunities to experience new culture. It is a great feeling to be a part of the running an entire event in helping to maintain a fun and safe environment for others, as well as being first responders to life threatening occurences and dealing with the situation the best way we can (the protocols). These are the benefits of working at Northwest Protection Services.

Answering all customer questions and concerns in a postive attitude.Controlled access to establishments, issued passes and directed visitors to appropriate areas.Attended to persons with special needs.Patrolled assigned areas on foot or in vehicles. Checked age identification of patrons. Enforced regulations of the establishment to maintain order and resolve conflicts.Operated security control-room equipment to monitor establishment activities.

This company was awful to work for. Little organization and long hours with no breaks. Worked in 40 degree weather with no water breaks. Worked event up north promised a hotel room instead slept on a floor. No good supervisors all are rude and on power trips. So many of them smoke and have no consideration if your around. AVOID this company unless you enjoy being treated awful.

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance
equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
 Obtains help by sounding alarms.
 Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of
policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Management needs to learn how to deal with situations employees are involved in better.  Management also needs to promote staff properly, use years of service and experience as basis for promotions.

I enjoyed working with Northwest Protection Services Ltd as Security Guard. I worked on various sites including security for events, games and concerts. I have learned lot from my superiors and coworkers.
