Every day I come to work, I feel a sense of peace knowing I get to do what I love most while being fully myself around my colleagues. There’s a genuine sense of connection, encouragement, and creativity that makes the workplace feel both inspiring and comfortable. It’s rare to find a team that not only collaborates so well but also uplifts one another, and that’s what truly makes this experience so special.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It’s a fast-paced environment that requires strong time management and the ability to stay organized under pressure. We often handle multiple appointments back-to-back, so staying on schedule is essential for delivering a seamless and positive guest experience, but also keeping the entire team running smoothly. Being mindful of timing helps ensure that no one falls behind and that each part of the day flows efficiently for both staff and clients.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is truly one of the best I’ve experienced. It often doesn’t even feel like work because everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. There isn’t a heavy or rigid management dynamic. Instead, the culture is rooted in teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration. We’re encouraged to create a positive, uplifting atmosphere where we can build real connections, not only with each other but also with our guests. It makes the experience feel authentic, fun, and incredibly rewarding every day.


When I first started at Nuovo, I wasn’t entirely sure what career path I wanted to pursue or how long this job would really be a fit for me. But having just completed my first year here, I can say with absolute certainty now that I’ve found my place. This company has provided me with not only the professional growth I was seeking but also a sense of belonging and purpose that I wasn’t expecting. From training to continuous mentorship, Nuovo invests in its employees.I have never been a part of a workplace that felt like a second home, but that’s exactly what Nuovo has become for me - a place where I feel valued and supported. From the very first day, I was welcomed into a vibrant, supportive, and incredibly inspiring environment surrounded by an amazing team of like - minded, incredible women who have become true friends and mentors. Nuovo truly shines in its commitment to not only continue to innovate and grow but also create a space where people can thrive personally and professionally. Oh and the cherry on top, we have a dog-friendly office, with lots of dog and even cats visiting from time to time! There’s something about having pets around that creates a sense of warmth and happiness—it’s hard to have a bad day when a puppy trots by. I feel incredibly fortunate and proud to be a part of the Nuovo team and I’m excited for my future here. 




At first i was super curious about the overall company seeing their portfolio online and on instagram because you could tell the quality of the work was there but i was mostly curious about how they achieve such a beautiful result! To be honest, i never seen such a unique concept anywhere else in Canada! I Was really stoked to find out it's an all-female team and that it's based in Montréal! The fact that they want to offer this amazing opportunity to feel better about ourselves and deconstruct those beauty standards regarding photoshoots of this type, age, experience, etc..is what really sparked the interest for me! I wanted to be part of this inspiring mission and to bring happiness and empowerment to people who struggle with their self-worth! The staff is so bubbly and most of all HUMAN! Your ideas and your voice matter and they're always all ears if there's anything. Plus, they always try to give you more flexibility regarding your schedule especially if you're a student! It's hands down one of the favorite job i ever landed on and I hope to be part of this journey as the company keeps growing! 

Working as a makeup artist at Nuovo has been an incredible experience. I’ve worked here for 3 years now and this job has not only allowed me to do what I love every day but has also helped me grow both professionally and personally. I've learned valuable skills in sales, communication, and problem-solving. Management is supportive, providing great training and growth opportunities. I have been working with NUOVO for almost two years, I feel like I watched this company grow and grew so much with it as well. The concept truly touched me as a women myself so getting to talk to all of our amazing guests made coming to work actually fun and gave me a purpose. I have also had the opportunity to grow and move through different departments which made me learn so much not only professionally but even emotionally and in my personal life. I was also very lucky to meet some amazing people that I now call my chosen family ❤️
