Developed and implement a windows application using MVP (Model, View, Presenter) pattern, DotNetBar toolbox and MS SQL Server. The Decision Tracker desktop application provides the Ontario College of Teachers stakeholders a central repository for case management. Caseworkers use the system for day-to-day information tracking, case status, hearing schedules, notes and outcomes. The Decision Tracker is a critical tool for the OCT organization to track and manage it’s teacher, school administrative staff and public complaints, hearings and orders.
•	Developed modules for OCT Decision Tracker using Windows Forms (WinForms)
•	Modified applications according to the business and user requirements 
•	Completed project under extremely tight timelines
•	Responsible for the implementing new code, bug fixes and troubleshooting technical issues

Held various jobs at the College and enjoyed them all.
Performed general administrative duties such as processing invoices, photocopying, filing, faxing, etc.
Set up meetings and created departmental meeting minutes, and composed articles for posting on the College’s Intranet
Provided telephone maintenance to the organization’s system. I.e. Running monthly reports from AVOTUS Call Accounting System, voice mail changes for staff, updates to the auto attendant messages, ensure call center application performs as expected, internal phone moves and changes for staff.

Toxic management, frequent lay offs especially for staff who have worked 20 years+

Constant meetings where nothing is achieved

The people I work with are very friendly and fantastic to work with.

The political acumen required to navigate projects.

Very cooperative and welcoming. It's an inclusive and diverse company

I would not recommend working for this company based on a culture of fear by employees of senior leaders.  Uncaring. Too down old fashioned leadership style. 

Management is great. Everyone is super caring and very friendly.
The workload was relatively easy, just a lot of work to do.
A lot of people are on contract, and the budget for certain departments are much smaller than other departments. 
Definitely, the most enjoyable part of the job was the people.

The pandemic hit the OCT very hard, and even today it is still recovering. There are a lot of hard working people here, and the organization seems to be solution-driven in a rapidly changing international context. This is good.
The benefits are pretty good. Policy could use some work, and should be more flexible.

Throughly enjoyed my time working there. It is certainly a busy workplace, the work is incredibly interesting and meaningful. The team is supportive and collaborative. Definitely grown significantly as a professional.

fantastic salary. very well organized and great work-life balance with focus on  ot overwhelming staff. Very flexible and accommodating
