Production plant so it’s about numbers and being fast. So fast at times I complained I didn’t enough have time to check every item being accurate. If your coworker walks away or is lazy it’s up to you to pickup their slack. CEO’s make managers feel stressed for daily higher quotas (or competition between shifts) and it trickles down to the front lines causing miscommunication and stress all the time between supervisors, leads and workers. Managers were polite and approachable from higher ups to supervisors and leads. Leads and machine operators have a lot on their shoulders. Ethnically diverse work culture making it very fun to learn about other languages and lifestyles. Sometimes that did cause a bit of miscommunication but not often. Very clean building. Nice new modern facilities including bathrooms and a cafeteria with items to buy if you forgot your lunch. Bottom floor of plant only had one bathroom causing waiting times when it was hard to get off the line. Changing 8 times a day in and out of scrubs then walking a long distance for break was annoying. No profit sharing but lots of meetings about production profits. Not a bad place to work. I would work there again, just on a different schedule. The on-boarding process is the best I’ve ever seen and I now work for Irving Oil.

Management constantly makes stupid decisions that affects every department negatively and they blame the workers for not working hard enough. We are constantly being overworked with no end in sight, and management couldn't care less. All they want is to milk every second of labour they can get out of you. They do nothing to accommodate your needs in trying times despite your every effort to meet them halfway. We're constantly short on equipment, supplies, and workers. They count every minute you take on break and every week it seems they add more rules. You could do back breaking work the entire 12 hours and literally put your blood, sweat, and tears into the job and you will never get anything above a "meets expectations" on your performance review. Not only that, but if you use even one of the 5 allotted sick days (per year), they will talk to you about how you can improve on that. They never want you to take any time off, and if you do, you have to jump through hoops to get them a doctors note the same day you call out even if you work nights. The work isn't even bad, its definitely difficult but can be satisfying at times, its just the management that's the problem. They are running this company into the ground and I would never suggest anyone work here for that reason.

 Great place but what makes it so toxic is the management and higher ups. They promise you things, yet go and do something else that benefits them. They will hire anyone and I mean ANYONE I mean if you can walk you’re hired. They let in people who are lazy and don’t give a F about their job. Management needs to go.. HR people are just as bad. A lot of employees can’t go to Hr because they’ve had a bad experience with them or they couldn’t help/ didn’t want to go out of their ways to help. The wage could be more competitive for people who do more,  but we all get paid the same, some do more work and some so bare minimum or nothing at all. A lot of higher ups left this company… maybe that is telling you something may be wrong with the structure of this whole company. But hey we’re below so we don’t matter. 

If you want to clock in & clock out without having to think for 12 hours at a time, production work at Organigram could be for you. The pay is decent, the schedule is good, and the company actually offers many services to its' employees. Health benefits, RRSP matching, cumulative vacation pay, as well as sick days. All the advantages you'd expect from a large company. Unfortunately, with that also  comes a huge disconnect between production and management, a general disregard for production staff, and a complete lack of accountability for those making the decisions.  Cuts come from the bottom, not from losses incurred by higher ups. Positions are eliminated, demoted employees are offered to stay on for lower wage, sometimes you even get to train your replacement!  Bonne chance!

I worked in processing which can be tedious and repetitive but if that is the kind of work you enjoy, you would probably like it. My manager was one of the nicest guys I've ever met, and I worked with a great team for the most part. I only stayed 3 months because I just couldn't stand the work and it involved a lot of bending and staying hunched over for long periods of time (sorting bud, etc) which is not great if you already have back or neck issues. Especially if you are a tall person. I didn't mind doing the paperwork aspect of things at all though, in fact, it was kind of fun.

Training and support is non existent. Issues are hidden so everything seems fine. Managers and supervisors are combative with eachother and abusive to staff. Turnover is high because everyone is replaceable, and will be worked to their breaking point. A 12 hour shift can easily become a 14 to 15 hour shift, as people are often expected to stay late. Employees concerns are not addressed and there is little movement for career growth. Stay away.

Firstly, when you get to work you generally get don't know what he will be doing that day until you get there, which is subject to change at any time. As far as health and safety is concerned, it's pretty good. Lots of PPE and what not.

Entry pay high, advancement opportunities available, training was great- the culture was lacking though, claimed we were an "Organi-Fam" which just looked embarrassing from a technician standpoint, when the plant manager didn't know many names. There were many HR scandals, half of Moncton has bad experiences to share.

Toxic culture. They work you like a dog

When i was in ORGANIGRAM as a day shift work my status and profile was under the Integrated staffing because i was an agent,so what i can say about the industry is that i was safe i was happy to work there even if am no longer working there, there was no hardest part, what i learned there is to be a hard worker no matter what the situation is
