Starting your day off at work would be the organize the orders that are being shipped across Canada or auto province or the country afterwards we would get the feeder ready with the grain and wheat. We will check the trucks that need to be unloaded and the trucks that need to be loaded and we would pre-plan and make sure everyone is on the same page Forklift load up and unload prepping prepare . i’ve learned a lot at this job management proper pace, working with pros. The hardest part about the job would have to be taking a break would be the hardest spread about the job. Very enjoyable and very fun inconsistent. Enjoyed working with great people, but I also enjoyed the pace, the momentum, and the clarification that others would, allow you to learn quickly and adjust to the company as needed.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is no good part. The employees are great people. Corporate and management has their head up their butts

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Constantly on call, alot of stairs and way to much overtime.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There moral is low, the union is lowsy poor management which leads to overworked and frustrated employees. You are just a number. Most employees are great to work with.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day for a maitenance technician is you run around and "put out fires" The maitenance is understaffed so there is alot of breakdowns at anytime of the day which leads to your phone ringing off the hook 24/7 to come i  and fix it. Not much of a family life.

Terrible management that killed the morale of employees, mandatory 6 days a week unless its cancelled at the last minute ruining any chance of you making plans for weekends. They recently eliminated the night shift but still expect you to produce the same amount. This company has so badly mismanaged their Cambridge location it will be closed in the near future. 


Fallin apart from the top down. Trying to control everything from corporate office with no value for what it takes to be a industry leader. Replaced or ran out an entire management staff without any idea how to replace them with competent people. Instead of bringing in engineers or equivalent they replaced them with floor supervisors who couldn't do basic tasks.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There are no good reasons to work there anymore. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The logistics manager treats employees very badly. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is not very good anymore. The company is going downhill fast 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Anywhere from 10 to 14 hours a day

This is a stressful work enviroment with long-term employees who are not all very supportive of newcomers,  although kind enough, and very capable.
Management is very tight and loves to cut corners, and is driving wages down Inly the Hakufax mill remains non-unionized.
They could stand joining a uniin.

Started out as a temp under the assumption I would be hired on full time permanently.  With inside changes to the company I had to be let go. Friendly co-workers.  Job position is fairly easy.  Coded for accounts payable.  Lots of space in offices. Training provided.

Great Company to work for, but the Union is killing the Cambridge Division
Other then that I've had no complaints in 20+ yrs of working there. As a Truck Driver , the equipment was always well maintained,  and hrs were somewhat flexible. 

By far the worst company I have ever worked for. Bad management  extremely poor customer service. Not organized at all.
Stab you in the back first chance they get.
Stay away go work at McDonald’s your better off

Was a good Summer job that helped me afford school.  Definitely thankful for that.
