This company is extremely unprofessional, gives you terrible machines to work with then get mad at you when they break down, they get upset if you take too long cutting grass, they will tell you to get out and work during thunderstorms. If you want to work here, be prepared to pay anywhere from 600$-1000$ in uniform fees. Not to mention the amount of times they had us working 14-15 hour shifts and expected us to be ready to go at 7am for another 15 hour day. They do not care about you as a human, they only care about making money. Management has horrible communication skills, like when there is a problem you have to talk to 3-4 different people to get a single answer. And they are not afraid to terminate you on a Saturday they made you work, AND THEN proceed to not even pay you for said Saturday. If I could sum this company up in one word it would have to be : Incompetence 

After working with Paramount Landscaping Inc., for many years I have found this company to be the most professional and well-organized company.  The management group does an excellent job with the staff to ensure the best possible customer service for our clients, this is done by constant training with the staff and being very hands on.  Before coming to work with this company, I had very little to no knowledge of the landscaping and construction industry. Since starting, I have learned so much about the industry; this is due to management staff taking the time to explain how things work and why things are done the way they are done.  There is a tremendous amount of opportunity for growth offered to the staff to grow with the company and strive with the company.  Paramount Landscaping is very fast paced and all members of Paramount make you feel as though you're not just another employee, you're family.

A typical day at work here includes being absolutely clueless about what your actual responsibilities are as they are consistently changing without notice. This company operates in a very unprofessional manner when it comes to employee relations. This company consistently pays late and holds part of your money made to "guarantee you will return", if you don't return they keep the money owed to you. Workplace culture is a bit of a joke, 80% of the workforce doesn't speak English which makes communication very difficult.  Hardest part of the job is dealing with the financial stress this company puts you under, they did not pay correctly from day one. Some of the co workers were nice to talk to but the management is on a level of unprofessionalism that I have never once experienced in a landscaping company before. 

Working at Paramount Landscaping has been a dynamic and fulfilling experience. A typical day blends hands-on problem solving with strong team collaboration. The leadership team is approachable and open to feedback, always aiming to improve systems and communication across departments. I’ve gained valuable skills in project management, team leadership, and customer relations, all while contributing to high-quality landscaping work. The culture encourages accountability and innovation, which makes even the tough days feel meaningful. The hardest part of the job is juggling competing priorities during peak season, but it’s balanced out by a real sense of accomplishment. The best part? Being trusted to lead, take initiative, and be part of a team that takes pride in its work.

Here at Paramount Landscaping we enjoy a moderately early, cheerful start to our day. We come in and have a “tail gate” meeting with our the and head out for the day to complete the tasks. The management team are absolutely fabulous and if you work hard they always appreciate and reward you. For example, the monthly construction team BBQ!

A lively, fun, fast-paced atmosphere. Long hours, but great satisfaction in seeing the high standard of work produced by our dedicated employees.

Working with like-minded people , who have a passion for what they are doing, and respect you for your knowledge of the industry.

A highly rewarding company to work for.

The positive reviews here are from management trying to up their rating. In reality, you are not valued here. You need to be willing to work 12-14 hours here at minimum if you work in the office. If you approach any members of management, they’ll tell you they agree things are bad as long as the CEO isn’t around. Some good people here, overall a toxic environment. 

This company will withhold pay during winter months to ensure you will return. If you don't return you will never receive the pay.  They do not care about you or anything you have going on outside of working for them. 

Don’t work for these guys unless you like getting treated poorly and not paid. They do anything to screw you over. Any 5 star reviews on here is management trying to boost their  ratings.
