Worked here for many years, an this company has gotten worse every year for the last 5years. Being liked and entertaining is more important then being skilled and qualified. Favoritism an nepotism is normalized and rampant through out the divisions. If you are skilled at a position there desperate to fill, be prepared to be used up and exploited. Then discarded when the season is over. Bullying mentality is a way to discribe the work culture and environment. If someone is desperate for work or has no experience in this industry, this place is good for fast money. THAT'S IT. They have such a high turnover rate it's ridiculous. Park Paving has quite the reputation. It's to bad nothing is done about it.

Was excited to start here for traffic. Until my first day when I found out it’s strictly 8 hours and NO overtime.  With the low pay and seasonal work it’s a recipe to starve all winter.  Traffic is run like a Mickey Mouse organization.  Thousands of bases but no pylons so they have to rent both for jobs? Might as well just cut the traffic division and order directly from the pros. Even for fixing equipment someone had to bring his own tools from home. Got let go because my manager couldn’t read a resume properly

At first this company was good to work for, then somthing changed. Its seems management and field bosses has there own agendas. Communication issues started to get worse, and no respect towards employees started to increase as the season wore on. Advancement is only a pipe dream here, the only ones who get promoted are the ones who know management well enough and suck ups. This place has a high turn over rate for a reason, if  you want to be treated like a number, disrespected and layed off every season, this is the company for you.

Coming into work was an easy thing to do, that is until the management got involved. The work was productive and meaningful, my coworkers friendly and able people. The management staff was often grumpy and seemed to care much more about the revenue they were making than the people they were managing. Change the leading staff and you'll have yourself a great company! In the mean time they should try showing some employee appreciation for a change.

I like Communication they are every understanding they more value to everyone we work as a family

It when it hot out side  and when weir behind schedule

The company offer the monster appotunity

I am always happy my day at the company it unspeakable

That was my first job .. from when I started to when I finished there 6 years later .. I have learned a lot of things there tricks and hacks this and that .. that I still use today elswere this is now 14 years in concrete business I wouldn't be we're I'm to today if it wasn't for park paving .. I'd love to work there again very good ppl and respectful. 

I started with no experience at all in the industry and I've had the opportunity to work for a few different departments with the company working including on the road crews and in the main office.  I've been given many opportunities to learn new things, and have great support every step of the way.

The long-term employee retention plans and profit sharing plans are great too.

Not a bad company. Good group of techs. Foreman a good guy and decent mechanic but wrong man for that position. Put in position because of who he was married to. Leadhand was a good mechanic but just had the wrong attitude for leadership role. 

Big frustration was that you would ask lead hand what he wanted done for a situation and he would go ask the foreman who would then wait to ask the manager. Just so inefficient. Somebody just make the call.

Good personnel in most divisions. Average start rates and safety oriented.

Weather is very important in this industry.

Good . My experience has been great. Plan on retirement with the company.

Hot and always leaning new and exciting knowledge every day.

I like Team worker always group of people they can do something better

No stress at all when Iam working
