Everyday is busy, challenging and interesting as you are constantly learning and growing personally and professionally.  
The culture in very inclusive as there are all types of people that work here and everyone works together well.
The management allows you to take on responsibilities that make you better and stands behind you to ensure that you succeed in your goals.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the job is working at the trade shows.  It is very interesting, fun and really makes the team come together.  Seeing the reactions to our products from clients, provides a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Further, when I am shopping in a retail environment as see products we made in the stores, I am so proud to know that Pather provides great quality products all around the world, and I am part of the team!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Coworkers and bosses were nice at the very beginning, but soon, would discover the truth.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Bosses and coworkers sweared at junior employees. Atmosphere was quite embarrassing, though it was set out in the employee’s handbook that the company tried best to foster a friendly workplace.
People are all stressed about sales, deadlines, because they are not strict in setting timelines and following instructions. Senior employees are worse, conflicts with bosses are common. Bad workplace.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful, wants employees to work overtime and squeeze time to get to work before 8am, if employees not follow, supervisor feels bad about employees. No work life balance, wants employees to volunteer time to company.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work full of minor changes. Laugh on the face but saying bad words behind employees and customers.

I have worked for Pather Plastics Canada Inc. for over 25 years and have learned a lot about so many things in various aspects of our manufacturing capabilities.  

The workplace environment is energetic, creative and collaborative. Every day is a new day - never a dull moment.  

The experiences I have had here have enriched both my personal and professional life and I look forward to many more years to come.  

The management is always fair and willing to listen.  They always challenge me to be at my best.

Working at Pather has been a great learning experience for me.  As each project is unique, I have learned a lot of different aspects of design within each of the products that we create.  We work together as a team to design and create an item that meets our client's specific needs.  It is highly rewarding to take a project from my design and see it manufactured in our production facility and then to see the product out in the environment it was intended for.

As a manufacturer of displays, our company creates unique and innovative displays for our clients every day.  I enjoy working with our clients to create a display that bring their product to life.  It is very satisfying to see a project go from concept to full production and completion to go into a retail environment.

Time goes by very quickly at Pather Plastics as there is always new and exciting projects to work on.  There is a variety on the types of products being produced all the time.  Each client request is unique for their environment.  We need to be creative for each client to set their displays apart from others.  It's a challenge - but I am enjoying the work.

During these difficult times with COVID-19, it has been a rewarding experience working at Pather and assisting clients with Acrylic Shields in order for their businesses to open up again. 

Providing custom sized  shields for their locations has been learning experience for our clients and I have enjoyed helping them.

Our retail store allows me to help our customers find that perfect display unit for their product.  The variety of requests that we receive keep each day very interesting and exciting.  Each day is unique and the types of displays we create are very rewarding.

Our clients require innovative and create ways to display their products.  Our creative process allows for a great way to think outside the box. As each project is unique, it allows for me to come up with new ways to produce our displays.  Seeing the finished product in use is very rewarding.

The management is a joke! They think they are the smartest people but the fact is that they don’t know anything about running a business. The pay is low but they expect you to work extra hours. Even if u get a call please do not waste your time attending an interview because all they do is to degrade you.
