I met a lot of great people who I worked with. Was offered a job that I left my recent workplace for and one day I was taken off the schedule and I tried to ask them why and got no response until the last 10 minutes of my shift that I was being let go. So now I have no income. Lack of training and support from management. You are expected to fill shelves with little to no stock and get a lot for workload and yelled at if it’s not done. Made to feel anxious if you don’t do it the way they want it. Was asked to train when I was still training. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be screwed over.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Getting knowledge on all types of product  throughout the store  in turn helps with customers inquiries.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
What was the most stressful part of working at Peavey Mart was the planogram changes every week  that needed completed but  with lack of workers on sometimes made it difficult.

It's was good throughout my time working there

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Extremely busy none stop from start to finish.

when I first got hired to PV Mart, I found a very enjoyable and fun and I wanted to go to work, but then they started firing all the young people then all the managers became rude and disrespectful towards us. Crew members and people started to quit. And after a while, they stopped giving us after school workers 15 minute breaks.

The pay does not amount to the hours they demand you work nor the work load. It was nothing but stressful and leaving was the best choice I made. When bored you’re promised all these things and none of it is that way. Working every weekend, favouritism for certain employees and the company itself does not care about their employees.

The workplace can switch in a second from a nice place to work to not wanting to show up at all due to the tasks given out from head office. The company itself is not bad but the decisions made by head office and their budget allocation, $0.15 raise in 5 years

What is the best part of working at the company?
Loved everything about working at Peavey Mart, it's too bad they went bankrupt because I would still be working there if they didn't.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Some of the staff would stress me out sometimes but other than that it was a great place to work

They wouldn't care about the person or their health they have trust issues they would get mad over stupid things and never heard the end of it . They would put staff down all the time talk about others behind their backs .

I'm sure other peavey mart locations are amazing to work for but the Bedford location is beyond bizarre. it is so unorganized and I couldn't ever imagine joining a company knowing it would turn out like this. I DO NOT recommend working here if you want to be happy.

There were a lot of cliques within peavey mart. I got talked down to and treated like I was a child by most of the staff. The management was useless,  and also talked behind the staffs backs. If the like your mental health don't work here.

I have worked with Peavey Mart for over 10 years and have had a pay cut in that time. Would not recommend anyone to apply. I cannot even shop where I work.
