At Policaro Oakville, initially it was a great job.  I often took initiative educating myself on the company and the cars, the systems we worked within and anything I could get my hands on.  I worked multiple jobs, and was a top performer, taking in the most calls and receiving the most positive feedback guests (all of this is kept  score of). But I would still be written up for very obscure reasons and I would constantly be told I wasnt doing enough.  I was doing more than enough.  Raises were our of the question, finding the correct management to speak with was impossible - nobody knew what or who was the person responsible.  And I believe it was all on purpose so us low level employees would never feel safe and secure in our jobs.  They would also have us train our replacements, this happened to atleast 4 people.

At the Policaro group, regardless of the dealership you work for. Expect to be surrounded by co workers with positive ambitions for personal development and a desire to enhance the customer experience. I have been with the group for about a year now and I can honestly say I wish I joined sooner, management has never said "we are all family" however, this is the closest to family as you will ever get in a workplace. 

Management listens and actively listens to internal complaints and helps you develop a pathway for future promotions.

Most enjoyable part of working for the group is knowing that the Policaro family takes care of its associates and strives to go the extra mile fore the employee experience.


If you are considering a career change or looking to grow in the automotive industry join this group and delete indeed, You won't need its service anymore. 

Speaking as a former full time employee I can honestly say working at Family Honda is the most stressful job I've had. The pay and benefits are great And the employees are wonderful, loved my co workers. However, management micromanage you and they are extremely aggressive and rude at times. Was promised growth but only found myself doing all the things other people didn't want to do without compensation. This is an okay job for someone looking to just make some cash but someone looking to grow and build a career in the automotive industry, I'd say look elsewhere. Also they have no compassion when it comes to illness and days off...your job is threatened immediately. You will also find favoritism amongst some employees and managers. They will be able to sit with the manager and chat for 90% of the day while you work till you can drop.

A growing organization that fosters career growth and opportunity while providing a fair and consistent work environment for those individuals looking for a challenge.

Working with Automotive professionals from Sales to Service to Corporate Head Office employees.  Focused environment where all employees are guided toward a common vision of growth and success.  For those individuals looking to work in a fast paced environment where strategy and fostering ideas outside the box are welcome, will thrive in this organization.

Policaro Group is a luxury automotive group that truly puts the customer experience & employee satisfaction first. They know that you can't have one without the other. From the first interview until current day, they have fulfilled every promise and lived up to their reputation. The expectations are high for all employees; however, they provide the tools and support so they can be reached. The best part of working for the Policaro Group are the teams they assemble. They hire individuals that share similar values, which then leads to everyone pushing and pulling in the same direction. Overall, it's motivating to be a part of such a forward-thinking organization.

It’s become clear that this group operates recklessly when it comes to how they treat their employees, especially the ones who genuinely care and perform. They offer attractive pay and speak highly about respect and values, but the reality is very different.

If you don’t play politics or cater to certain managers, your time is limited, regardless of your performance or integrity. Meanwhile, individuals who cut corners, mistreat customers, or even cross serious ethical lines are allowed to thrive.

This isn’t a culture built on merit or professionalism, it’s one that discourages real talent and ambition. For those considering a move here: be warned. It’s not a place for growth, but a place that can derail a promising career. I’ve seen it and lived it.

This is by far one of the worst places I have ever worked. I was employed for 8 months, even though I was one of the top performers. They told me they were going in a different direction and that i was doing nothing wrong but was being let go regardless. Management does not care about staff. It's like working on the set of the young and restless. Drama and too much office politics. Do not work here unless you want a short term job, because clearly when you let them know you're in for the long run and would like to move up in the company that means nothing. They won't keep you based in performance or things they should Be looking for in a good employee, instead they will be judging you based in if they like you personally.

I used to work here. It is one of the worst place you can image to work at. They rate your performance based on your personality, and from where you're coming from. Veryyyy strict company policy, and if they do not like your accent they treat you different from the other employees and it feels like you are the target all the time, and they are just waiting for your next mistake so they can tell you that they do not want to work with you anymore. As you are starting to work at new place you are not familiar with all the things they are doing. Here they will tell you once, and if you ask a second time they do not respect you any more.
