Definitely a big learning curve here as there are so many variables of problems that can go wrong with either the fine blanking press itself, the die, or the programmed values. A typical day included the setting up of the press with various dies depending on the number of jobs needed to start or the number of jobs finished. set up included adjusting values accordingly such as pressures, alignment, timing, material thicknesses, speed, axis' etc also included some material handling with a forklift for the parts and dies as well as a crane for some of the dies during set up. Quality was a major focus with the checking of gauges, height gauge, go/no go gauge, use of micrometers, vernier, and various measuring tools.

The manager at this is facility cares about one thing only....PARTS. The air quality in this place is crazy, they pay full time people to mop and clean floors because the oil is that bad. Employees walking and driving around on tow motors with no safety glasses on, Sorry their located on their forehead. I did not see any safety device checks on any of the presses. The Ontario Ministry of Labour should shut this sweat shop down and start enforcing labour laws in this province.

The job was excellant and steady. The Shift supervisers and MAnagers were excellant human beings who gave us lot of space to grow and was all ears to hear any suggetions or issues from all staff. I loved working at the place and would never have left the job if it was not for my exams.

I love reading the old reviews because it is like night and day. I have been working here for years and I love it. The work is super boring, but the people I work with are wonderful, and the work culture is fantastic. Managers are incredibly helpful and the environment is very relaxed. If I had to make car parts anywhere, I'd pick to work at Precision everytime.

There was no opportunity for advancement for me. I wanted to go to school to improve myself and there was no funding or opportunity as I sought for help and counsel from the representatives in this company. I was a single mom who worked hard. I was committed and gave my 50 -60 hrs a week to this company. It was very difficult for me to move on as I did love my coworkers but I needed to improve my quality of life and skills. This was very disappointing.

company has no lean or improvement environment. management has no plans for improving factory. very reactive environment - quality specs change hourly, plant rules change weekly, a lot of negativity and blame between coworkers on all levels. management doesn't care how people are treated as long as parts get out the door.

Learned alot on running and setting up presses, found management to play alot of favoritism from supervisory up to G.M. Several romances going on between management and floor workers.Hard to be a fair enviroment

I enjoyed working for this company, it was a small,family owned company. They were great people to deal with, any issues i had, work related or not, i had no problem sharing with them. Every day was a new work location with different challenges.

steady work, nice and genuine  people. free coffee, hot chocolate, lunch room have microwave and fridges. i was inspaction small parts some time i stand but there is chaires you can set and work.

I had a great time working here, and was challenged daily to perform at the level expected of myself both personally and by the management. The team was great, and I believe that it was a very beneficial relationship which allowed us to perform at a high level.
