Primco Dene

I pride myself in longevity and good relations in my employment history but this is by far the one and only place i have worked at that lacks integrity, organization and leadership. The company is hands off and does not manage, leaving the workers to sort problems out for themselves or working with the clients. Every worker thinks they are the boss doing whatever they want to do.  Primco has a history of not checking credentials of new hires, so if you say you are a paramedic on a phone interview, you will likely get a job as a paramedic. Nepotism at its finest. Poor recruitment and retention. If you are unhappy, just say you will leave and you could get some money as bribe to stay. The work environment is monotonous, a person doesn't expand or grow, it's just a paycheck. It has a slow pace - good for retiring or unmotivated people.

Work days began with a safety meeting. General duties were as follows, clean kitchen, bathrooms, boot rooms, sweep and mop floors, dust offices plus several other small cleaning jobs.  The biggest thing I learned on this job was the importance of safety practices and regulations.  When I first started the job the company was experiencing management difficulties, but the issues were resolved quickly and were able to supply an effective management team.  The most difficult part of my job was accepting the huge amount of waste that occurred on site in the oil field.  I mostly enjoyed the fellowship and camp living.

its often fast paced and sometimes challenging working in camp but the rewards are endless. I've learned many things involving trades and  people skills working with Primco Dene. everyone from management to my coworkers have a say in what is wanted and needed in the camps and the company is very accommodating. the only downside to working in the camps is being away from family but everything else is great. the places I've worked for Primco have become second homes to me and the people I've worked with have become like family to me.

you could work yourself to death and still never advance in anyway. unless your related to someone in the head office or buddy buddy with management, HR is a joke and your disposable no matter how good or hard a worker you are. it got way harder after the oil crash, a lot of staffing cuts were made and the job feels even harder than it already was. a lot of people are either quitting or leaving due to the fact they mentally and physically can't do it anymore. but you'll be replaced and forgotten before the end of the day.....

worked long hours, unlimited amount of job duties, cleaning stocking filling emptying of containers, shelves, coolers or equipment, training other workers in job duties, checking temperatures, the management was great i loved my bosses they were helpful and respectful of me, always available and offered theyre services, the best part was being able to cook and help out serving on the line, the worst part was taking out the garbage and cleaning some areas in the kitchen.

The first thing is a tool box safety meeting, then before I start my duties inspect the work area for any hazards or broken equipment, the begin my tasks cleaning the floors, boot rooms, and  any surfaces in main areas and also bathrooms, I documented HIDS and made inventory orders. The co-workers were good to get along with and work around, the hardest part about the job was being away from home, the most enjoyable part about the job was learning new things and getting to know people.

Arrive for all shifts 15 minutes early for cross-over meeting.  Prepare all paperwork for the duties at each location.  If help is needed management is more than willing to give direction or even come to you for guidance.  Primco Dene has a very family-oriented atmosphere.  The most enjoyable part of Primco Dene is the friends and companions you get to work with.

learned to assess an clear debris flha's set up for work station to be clean as my shift was 4 am to 4pm but i learned different stations as well etc. soups ,sandwiches,salads,bakery helper ,but dishwasher was best suited for me

12 hours keeping busy and away for a break

I liked the work I did, I met a lot of nice people. daily safety meeting, hard work at time's, Clean room, 3 meals, gym, TV in every room, free wifi and over all it was a good job. I had only received 1 raise the whole time I worked with the company.
