Between myself and the two other drivers in my department getting poor reviews and being denied raises (because of a supervisor with a grudge), and being approved for a transfer only to have it taken away, I wouldn't trust this company as far as I could throw them. Once you notice the comically high turnover, then you'll understand. Besides having a steady income I probably could have found a more fulfilling job over the 4 1/2 years I wasted there.

I met a lot of friendly, fantastic, helpful employees, but once you start dealing with management and head office, that's where things fall apart. If they make you a promise that something will happen that may help to improve your working conditions and quality of life, don't believe them. Work/life balance is an idea that's thrown around but never actually followed.

Management seems to be all over the place, and their decisions are usually self serving and make the lives of the employees pretty miserable. The benefits are pretty decent, but don't expect much praise for what's literally life saving work. The most you'll get is a gift card at Christmas and the occasional free shirt or jacket.

If you want to do some truly meaningful work, go volunteer or find a different path. ProResp will work you to the bone and take your labour for granted.

I've been working at ProResp for over 15 years, starting as a Customer Service Representative and now working in Service Delivery. Throughout my time here, I have always felt valued and supported, especially at the Newmarket office.

One of the biggest strengths of this location is the management. Our manager, who has been with the company for 20 years, truly understands both client and staff needs. They are always there to support professional growth while also encouraging a healthy work-life balance.

At the Newmarket office, we work as a team—more like a family. The Service Delivery group is amazing; we rely on each other whenever needed, creating a collaborative and positive work environment. Like any job, success comes from hard work and dedication, and if you're willing to put in the effort, you'll find a rewarding experience here.

Review of ProResp

Working at ProResp had its moments, thanks to some of the kind and supportive employees. However, the management was a completely different story. Instead of fostering a learning environment, they seemed more focused on pointing out faults without providing adequate training or guidance to help you improve.

If management didn’t like you, it often felt like bullying rather than constructive criticism. Their goal seemed less about helping employees succeed and more about setting them up for failure. This made for a toxic and discouraging work environment.

If you’re considering working here, be aware that while the team might be welcoming, the lack of support and accountability from management could make it a challenging and frustrating experience.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good part is the colleagues.  You trauma bond together.  

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The manager.  She has impossible expectations that you can never satisfy.  Even if you follow her instructions to the letter. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic.  You are pitted against each other and only the ones who throw each other under the bus survive.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hectic and stressful.  You will spend most of the day trying to do a good job but it will never be good enough.  You'll be made to sit in performance meetings every day and defend why you followed directions.

I liked my job everything about it is good, company vehicle, uniforms provided, work boot allowance, decent benefits, pension plan... Things that you don't get at too many places anymore. The team is great works well together, management is good and they are there to help you succeed. There isn't too much to be critical about the job, on call sucks sometimes, but it's only 1 night every other week, and a weekend every couple months. Hours are 9-5 no flexibility there, but if you need to go to an appointment mid day, you can. I liked seeing the same regular people, you get to know them well. Downside is many pass away. Overall I would have stayed but more money, new adventure. 

Why I am still there not sure. I like the Client interaction  and helping people. The company is miss managed at every level with absolutely no idea about their inventory, poor quality products, no organization. Everyone always running around with no direction just bandaid solutions every day. I would not recommend working for this company to my worst enemy. I'll probably end up retiring there if I don't die first though. Good pension match program and for new employees lots of paid holidays. Not for the employees that built the company though. Maybe a good stepping stone job, but don't stay.

Fast paced environment, lots of multitasking required. Job is extremely rewarding. All of our clients are grateful for our services. ProResp goes above and beyond for every patient. Patient care & customer service is a top priority. Open communication across the team, regular team meetings. There is a high expectation of accuracy when it comes to certain tasks (like government funding documents). Lots of support from other team members in offices across our region.

The only good thing about this job is your coworkers…..

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unattainable work load, you will never finish all of your work, unless you stay overtime. The benefits are great but not worth the headache of this job. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Small office, managers are often not there so you are working alone all the time, minimal staff around.

Daily driving, delivering oxygen supplies.  Set up and troubleshooting with clients. Customer service. Respectful workplace environment. I learned how to work clients with disabilities. 

For a company in which are in the healthcare industry clearly are not in touch with sustaining life. they treat their front line workers with the respect that they don't have a clue of what they are doing. They continue to display signs of untrustworthy to their client base. They put more attention to revenue as oppose to quality of care.
