I would begin the morning planning my day, which calls to make, which collateral to use and whom to follow up with so I could maximize my time within the golden selling hours (9am-5pm).

My planning consisted of building call lists, locating the correct contacts within enterprise organizations (350m+ annual revenue) & executing a successful value proposition to discover interest.

The work atmosphere was great, everyone was friendly and got along, the majority participated in company sports teams after hours.

I learned how to use a variety of tools while prospecting strictly over the phone.  My knowledge of solution selling from Xerox was able to assist me in understanding the software world and role related interests.

Culture, CEO, Vision, Social Responsibility 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
After the acquisition in 2020 the newly introduced role of CMO (went through 2 in 3 years) basically broke the revenue engine that was previously overachieving.
They created so much confusion and chaos in marketing which resulted in massive attrition of dedicated and talented staff. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Up to mid 2020 it was amazing. After it was terrible. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy as it was a fast growing company.

I had the enviable opportunity to contribute to the marketing function at Prophix in 2022, and met some great people in the function and related ones. Consensus-style (and a lack of micro-management) made it a pleasurable experience and, subject to one's skills, needs and wants, I'd recommend employment at this firm for anyone considering a fast-growing, innovate B2B, SaaS fintech leader.

Prophix is a great blend of a large and small company. As in, it gives you the feeling of working for a large org (coz they are a big player in the CPM market and are continuously growing) while the culture & work setting is like you're working in a close-knit unit. The people are amazing, the culture very caring and relationship oriented. Everybody treats you like you matter, which also is one of their pillars. Compensation and benefits too are very good. They take care of their people like it's a family. Love this place.  

Prophix is a great co. with a fantastic team & lots of opportunity to grow!  Sr. Leadership team & HR are focused on motivating & empowering employees with fantastic programs, and benefits.  They really listen to employees & frequently send surveys to employees. No wonder Prophix receives Top Employer awards!  

Prophix of the past was a great place to work. Note how I said "good" instead of "great" in the header. That's because Prophix of today has scene a noticable decline in everything that made it great.

This is only noticable for the old guard. New hires will most likely see a significant improvement from where ever they're coming from.

This was a really great comapny to work for but changed a lot since the company was acquired. The management is only concerned about short term KPIs and don't care about employees, and investing in them. Don't feel supported and don't feel anyone cares. The software doesn't work well, PS is basically set up to fail, sales is really faltering. Huge issues with marketing that are no where near resolved

SaaS company thats growing up fast under Pe ownership. Great technology. Great poeple.  Significant new inprovements in contempory go to marlet and development processes, that often cut against the easy going, laid back  lifestyle culture of the old days.  

Exciting to learn a new industry. Cold calling was not enjoyable but leads were good. Great management and coworkers. Fun to learn about software industry and sales job was enjoyable while marketing was generating leads.

The company genuinely cares about their employees with regular events being planned and sponsored outside of work.  No empire builders.  Creating the best products & services we can build with the customer in mind is everyone's main focus.
