Great company from the top down. Emphasis on teamwork. Preference to promote from within over hiring from the outside when possible. Lots of opportunity for advancement if a person is motivated to grow in their field. Competitive wages and flexibility allows for good work/life balance. Senior management is quite personable and they care about their employees beyond how much profit can be extracted from one's labor. 

Here is a good example of what sets this company apart: when I first started working here, I made a mistake on the job that cost the company roughly $5k. Of course I felt shame, and was worried about losing my job. Rather than fire me or recoup losses by other means, the owner of the company put it to me this way: "I look at it like a bank account. Every day you come to work and make a small deposit. Today you made a big withdrawal. As long as the withdrawals don't outweigh the deposits, it's not a problem." I've never messed up so bad and had a boss that was so understanding.

I have been working in the cleaning industry for years and I have to say that my latest experience with ProStar has been a highlight in my career.
Senior management have been extremely kind and welcoming to me. They go out of their way help develop your skills and provide you with many opportunities with education and growth within the company .
My team that I manage are an amazing group of men and women. It is extraordinary how well the entire Team here, from DR to Contents to the Maids department, Project Managers to Senior Management pull together to give the customer a positive experience and ensure the success of the entire team.
I have to say that ProStar is one big happy family and they all look out for one another.

Turbulent and dramatic atmosphere, ridden with poor behavior on the management part. Nepotism and favoritism stumps staff's career advancement without consideration for seniority, experience or educational achievements. Senior management's hyper focus on profit margin causes a culture of cutting corners and constant arguments. False promises and broken agreements. Lack of accountability on behalf of the senior management in the company is nothing but a set up for staff's failure. Poor internal communication and leadership;  lack of any oversight on one hand and micromanagement on the other.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The People were respectful and flexible.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Some of the jobs were gross, But that's part of the job!

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Chill, and Diverse. People could keep their pets at the office

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Early start, And quiet at first, then get busy during the day...

A typical day at work involved comprised of washing walls, vacuum cleaning and mopping in teams. This work helped me improve my sociability with various people and my team working ability. Hardest part of the job involved putting on steel toed boots throughout.Fun and interactive co-workers

From beginning working here i felt like I'm appreciated and guided towards success. I have been offered opportunities and training any time possible. Great team and very supportive work environment.

This company is equipped with an amazing environment to develop great skills for future job experiences and this place of work strengthens the employees knowledge of various cleaning and household techniques.

If the company culture was healthy and non-biased and not littered with nepotism and favoritism, this could have been a great company. This company has a lot of growing to do.

Company is run like a daycare. Upper management deliberately pits employees against each other. No work/life balance. Crazy nepotism that they don’t even pretend to hide.
