*Daily processing of reports, inventory control, balancing reports, data entry and costing. Then assist on the factory floor where help was needed.

*Learned about making of polyethylene and various types of plastics and density of plastics.

*Management has areas of opportunity. Inconsistencies.

*Varying personalities on each shift. Had to learn to manage and supervise each worker according to their personality.

*Dealing with management mistakes and inconsistencies.

*Constant learning, Administrative duties, Maintaining production levels and completion of work orders, as per deadline.

The office culture can be toxic and deceptive(there is definitely room for improvement).  Everyone helps everyone out, but there is status jealousy (if you get along with one person; another person gets envious) - the jealous person causes problems and drives you to not wanting to work there try ignoring that...  I foresee changes in the long run, but seriously management needs to nip this in the buttox. The Owners, sales reps, and CSR team are Amazing, but they do need to work on being in tune with the work ethic of some of their employees. The culture sucks because of it.

Management is a nightmare, constantly standing in the way of forklifts chitchatting. Always hovering around, some would even hide in the products to listen to worker conversations. Owner is never around he has the CFO do everything and he is temperamental and abrasive. Management gets upset when a task that would take 1 person 1 hour too do is done in 30 by 2. The rest of the staff where amazing, we all bonded over the dislike of management and the terrible systems they had in place for inventory. 

I work at a very good company and my co-workers are easy to get along with. We work independantly as we all know our jobs well. I have learned various computer software relating to my job and how team work really works. The hardest part of the job is I must travel one hour to get here as I purchased a home in Hillsburgh, Ontario from Mississauga, Ontario. The most enjoyable part of the job is everyone's sense of humor and we all help each other.

While working at Quest Brands Inc, i learned many things from my supervisors about how to properly do my job. The work place was always clean and a nice place to work, with enjoyable people to talk with while you're on shift working. I never exactly experienced anything that i would consider to be hard work and throughout my time there i had a great experience and learned many new things from that opportunity.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Treat each other  Family at work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working in Burlaps material  time.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great work environment and everyone have their own culture like. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work at weekdays and weekends.

After leaving Quest Brands Inc for vacation to Jamaica. My return home to Canada wasn’t as exciting to get back to work as I wanted it to be. Due to and injury to my left arm on my vacay, I had to take a break from work to pay my fees for physiotherapy. Therefore; these events lead to me earning my forklift license, for an easier occupation in the warehouse/factory fields of working headquarters.

Horrible pay which I mean it is what it is, but tons of favouritism in the warehouse and unfairness. No proper training at all but then expected to do a $25-$30 an hour job so if that is what you are expecting please do not apply. Absolutely loved my co workers but management is not great. 

I love the work environment , the people and the management . It's not too much people . I love how the work goes. You work by your own and there are days you work with a partner. The management / owner are very nice people . And what's good is you have profit share yearly .


The job overall is pretty easy and co workers are nice and helpful. This is a pretty laid back place to work for a factory job. Hardest part will be the training like any other job but once you get hang of the fundamentals you'll be set.
