From the training, to accepting the job and scheduling it on your chosen day, nothing is better than that!
Due to a great deal of mileage, your pay is set to that portion, as for the audit itself, it doesn't pay that much.
So far, I've had only one difficult client but I was able to smooth things over and work again with him. Most are very professional, and some will offer to help perform the audit, search for equipment that may not be immediately visible.

You can set your own schedule typically unless it is a coordinated audit.
They provide lots of work if you are willing to take the assignments but the pay is minimal unless you can take on a lot of work. You are an independent contractor only paid by the jobs you accept.  

As a independant auditor you bid a job and then they try to get you to reduce it.

Very sporatic work. 

Not uncommon for them to ask you to bid a job and then they simply pull it.

Pay is average in Canada.

Since I had very little work, very little communication, + very little pay it wasn’t a great fit for me. It could have been a solid job if there was more stable work coming in to go audit.
