So I got the job about four months ago and I left almost 3 months ago , or should I say during training I was told that I had to reapply because I wasn’t going to be able to be ready to get on the phones in time because of IT issues so you can see that we start at a little point here OK. I would definitely not recommend this company because they are very professional I left the job about three months ago and I have yet to see a paycheque I keep emailing a lot of persons in the company and I’m not getting a response and if I do get a response it’s a one time respond saying oh you can check your paystub and Paycom,
I’m not able to get a paycheque and I’m not able to get a paystub I have asked for my ROE be sent in for months now and for months now I’ve been asking for a paystub none of which I have yet to receive and I have left this job three months ago no one is responding to my emails they are no help at all they didn’t give me my money they’re not giving me a paystub and they’re not sending in my ROE this company had I known that they were so unprofessional I would definitely have not taking this job. The fact that you do not have a direct telephone number to contact somebody on it’s just a red flag because I’m emailing them constantly and no one is emailing me back and the fact that I know firsthand that the job you have to have your email open just shows me that they’re just ignoring my emails.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. The pay is not the very best. The guidance while training makes no sense you are not even given one. Not even one warning is given before you are let go. It is very sad that you feel from day one all the pressures as if you’ve been working there for years there’s no help everything needs to be learned on your own. every step of the way you are treated as if you are a criminal for doing anything. There is no appeal. There is no dispute. They find reasons within the three month Probational to let you go. They talk about that there is Support but when you actually need one, they don’t give you any, so many lies that emails are sent to staff for warnings and instructions. Nothing is sent and then they make up all these lies.  No matter what you do or what your call stats are you can never be good enough to stay in this company. You need to be very cunning and fake to actually fit into this company. The supervisors are sitting around, doing nothing to help the staff, because there is so much amount of favoritism.

-Friendly co-workers, support staff and managers
-Job 'could' be very straight forward and low stress if not for the lack of training, lack of support, lack of feedback and disorganized management.
-Work Stations are supplied to agents
Con's
-On-boarding process was very disorganized
-Work stations ARE provided by the company but working apps/tools/logins/network access are not.  *Metrics are still expected to be met
-Support staff are friendly and knowledgeable but there is usually only 1 or 2 on shift so wait times can be extreme.
-Training staff is friendly but the course content is horrible and will not prepare you.
-Inexperienced, possibly incompetent managers do little to help you succeed, feed-back is one-sided, Requests for help in solving issues such as non-functional logins, apps required to do your job fall on deaf ears.

As of the end of 90 day probationary period, they still had failed to provide working system tools/apps/logins needed to do the job I was hired to do.

One can see major major red flags while working for this company. Management who does not care whether you live or die working, petty politics amongst everyone is the worst thing to deal with especially when the ground staff is one of the most driven and motivated working people I have ever seen.
Inhumane working conditions in their “vessels” as it is too hot in summers and freezing cold in winter, no matter how many heaters you use. Using dirty or barely cleaned portable washrooms in the freezing cold is a hygiene concern for everyone. When all these issues are informed to the management they do nothing about it. 
I would advice steering away from this company and finding something better. Would not recommend risking your health and well being for money.

The company's ideas are very favorable for the pandemic. A mobile kitchen works best when business around are shut. That said the management caliber and the work life balance are low to non existent. Sometimes there could be 7-10 people working in a crammed food truck. It is an obvious hotspot for Covid-19. In 6 months, the box i worked in was had 3 positive cases. The follow up was very questionable. Management could be much better. They do not like to hear No even when the demands are unrealistic. The front line workers working in the kitchen are the most amazing and driven people you will ever work with though. The only good point about the work.

The management in this company is a wreck.  If something necessary is broken they will often choose to ignore you rather than fix it.  Poor working conditions (bathroom facilities are porta-pottys that are rarely cleaned and often left unlocked for the public to use, locations in bad/dangerous areas with shifts ending 3-4am, working in vessels (trailers) with no proper heat in winter or cooling in summer) and no regard for work-life balance, often was forced to perform unpaid labour up to 3-4 hours at a time.

Terrible management, communication is non existent, even if it’s their fault they don’t like to apologize or make up for mistakes, unreliable, poor job training, don’t follow basic cleanliness protocols let alone covid 19 protocols, truck is crammed even when food inspector comes around, didn’t see him stay to inspect the food truck itself, only the places that we stored the food. Workers are very kind though, but the people in charge in those trucks also have bad communication skills and very immature in handling confrontation or criticism.

The job is full-time WFH and I believe that's the only plus of the job. The company doesn't really focus on their employee's growth seeing there's not much point of emphasis in it given the lack of positions available to move up. As long as you get things done, you'll be okay but just don't expect to see yourself being in a better position moving forward. If there's one important aspect I want to pass to potential applicants, just know that if career growth and fulfilling work is what you're looking for, this is certainly not it for you. This job is meant for people who's willing to grind through unfulfilling work on a daily basis knowing there's not much of a reward on the horizon for your efforts.

Since starting, management has changed frequently. Company has continued downsizing resulting in workload increasing as the team grew smaller. Key applications required to function at work has also went down for a significant amount of time. One of the payment search applications required to function has been down for over a year with management unable to find a way to fix it after it has been reported to be down.  Management once sent passive aggressive message asking why I clocked to work on the day that I was scheduled to work based on their clock-in app then didn't respond to me after I replied. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
They weren't loyal to the staff and company doesn't have any good grounds to work with . atleast in Ottawa.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No consistency and staff support, There is no growth for an employee. no benefits either. Most of all no job security.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Again it is not well organized at all, People judge people with race, color and gender.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very Stressful, and with no job security, everyday seems like your last day.
And that is what happened to me, as soon as the new owners came, they kick most of the experienced staff out .
