I joined Richardson Wealth following an extensive recruitment process during which I was assured of long-term stability, professional growth, and full support with registrations and licensing. I was also promised a smooth transition from my independent practice, including assistance with onboarding my clients and setting up operational systems efficiently.

Relying on these representations, I made significant professional and personal sacrifices. I left a secure position, wound down my existing practice, deregistered licenses, declined other career opportunities, and relocated at considerable personal cost to meet office requirements.

Unfortunately, the onboarding process was disorganized, and the level of support promised for licensing, registration, and transition did not materialize. This created avoidable delays and challenges at a critical stage of my career.

I also found the workplace culture to be lacking in inclusivity and sensitivity. When I raised personal concerns related to serious global humanitarian events affecting my community, the response from management was dismissive and, at times, inappropriate. This contributed to an environment where I did not feel psychologically safe raising concerns or having open discussions.

During my time at the firm, I observed operational and compliance-related practices that caused me concern. After raising questions through appropriate channels, my employment was terminated without cause. This outcome was unexpected given the commitments made during recruitment and resulted in significant financial and professional disruption.

Overall, my experience was disappointing due to the gap between what was promised and what was delivered, limited accountability, and insufficient support from senior leadership. I believe prospective employees would benefit from seeking very clear, written commitments regarding onboarding, licensing support, and internal culture before making major career decisions.

As an IT Analyst, typical day starts with you coming to office, taking a call where The advisor exhibited a confrontational or assertive demeanor during the call, because is uncomfertable with a software that was deployed because new CEO and management wanted to. IT agents  loose there job without any warning if they say a negative word regarding the software in question so be aware of every word you say. Dysfunctional Organizational Environment. 
Very Adverse Workplace Atmosphere. Unhealthy Organizational Dynamics due to extreme favoritism based on kinship. Negative Organizational Climate and Disruptive Workplace Culture.
Another downside is Hostile Work Environment and Toxic Organizational Culture. There is no possibility of promotion. If you have a stable job, Please dont leave it as you can be terminated suddenly at this firm without any warning.
Only employees that survive are the ones who engage in sycophantic or obsequious behavior toward direct Team lead or Manager.
Exercise discretion and maintain a discerning approach when collaborating with colleagues, prioritizing transparency, and verifying information independently to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Overall was very privileged to work at Richardson GMP with my team. The advisory team I worked with had a fantastic dynamic and we were all very collaborative with an end goal of creating value for our clients. The office setting was professional, yet social and friendly. The office planned several holiday activities and parties and we had team lunches often! Overall a great place to work and great culture, would highly recommend.

Depends on the team you work for.
Some IA's are great and want you to learn and grow and some are only there for themselves.
Just like I would expect at most places, but hopefully you don't get stuck with one that is only there to look out for themselves.
You can grow within the company but it's very limited.
You sit at a desk most of the day, which can get very boring.
They try to keep the culture alive by having frequent events that you can participate in.

The working environment at Richardson GMP is dynamic, challenging, and fast paced.  

The management team sets pretty high standards when it comes to who they hire to work at their firm.  The teams are highly-qualified and experienced professionals.  Richardson GMP encourages the support staff to play an active role and engage in the business and corporate culture.

It's a great place to work and start a career. You get to meet a lot of individuals and learn a lot. Management is always willing to help and better your time there. The people there are amazing and wonderful.

Good support environment. Takes care of the employee. Good hours . Good benefits.  You are able to work on your own or have a great support staff on hand. Bottom line is to provide great service for our clients and the Company sets you up to do just that with up to date technology and a forward thinking work environment.

Company provides many good benefits, location is also a plus as it is very close to transit. The type of work and salary you receive can be highly variable depending on the advisor team you are a part of. Overall they have good systems to use and supportive management.

Good place to work, quite transparent. Management is mostly supportive but at times there is minimal resources for additional training making it hard to advance and grow in certain roles. 

Once a month, lunch is catered in for all staff... in appreciation for their hard work and dedication.  Staff lunchroom is complete with teas, coffees, juices, milk, cereals, breads, eggs... so one can make breakfast to start off the day energized.
