A typical day was filled with lots of meetings. I learnt everything I did about sales & marketing because I had access to some of the best mentors and the support of a publishing and media department. Direct managers provided support to help you succeed. The workplace culture was a little bit toxic because of the constant downsizing of staff so workers were always on edge and nervous and this created an emotional drain. The hardest part of the job was not meeting sales targets due to economic reasons. The most enjoyable part was the great client relationships that was created and developing the consumer awards programs, bringing on board some of the largest cpg companies as clients.

While I was working for Rogers, I LOVED it. No complaints at all... until they "eliminated my position" at random on a Tuesday morning. They said I didn't do anything wrong, they just didn't need me anymore, and I needed to leave the premises immediately. Despite how great I was at my job, I felt totally disrespected and blind sided.

I was working at Rogers as a telephone CSR, the people were nice and treating everyone as family. There are many options for upward promotions. Of couse, it does still take at least 1 or 2 years in each position before you can move up to the next. Benefits are great for cell phones.

Great work environment.  Enjoyed working with different divisions and team leaders within the company, providing support and assistance to meet their demands.  Ample opportunity to learn or improve skills to enhance job performance.

If you work with a small, dedicated team it's a wonderful environment. But the larger corporation can often lose sight of how efficient and productive small teams can be and larger, economic decisions end up eroding the effectiveness of these small teams.

Great workplace culture! The creative services team shares an open workspace giving you an opportunity to sit where you want and giving you more independence. Working so closely with the creative teams gives me more opportunity to be creative and bond.

At Rogers its always business at a fast past. But as we focus on our jobs, we also make time to relax. - It even has a games room and gym

 If you are a problem solver with a good attitude, you'll do well. It's a wonderful company to work for. They have great benefits and wealth accumulation programs. 

Rogers TV Mississauga truly caters to the demographics it is broadcast to within the region of Peel. I have enjoyed attending community events so as to inform viewers on the positivity that is going on all around them.

The first direct leadership communication occurred a week before we had to decide if we were to continue or depart the organization. Lots of anxiety and fear had built up by this time.
