I worked with these guys years ago and definitely not a good place to work at. No training, no discussion of responsibilities. Superiors make it apparent if they don’t like you, talk behind your back & amongst your co workers. They couldn’t care less about you as a worker even if you show desire to learn and grow within this company. The truth is, this company is a very tightly knitted community so if these folks don’t like you, you might as well hang up your gloves because it isn’t worth it hence why I didn’t waste a second leaving. All around horrible experience. I also like to say, it is construction but when you start your first days not knowing what to do with nothing explained to you at all, then get yelled at for not doing something correctly that wasn’t explained to you, it kinda just looks like these guys are dummies. Anyways horrible experience.

Horrible place to work, no direction, management is lazy, benefits are a joke, no positive reinforcement whatsoever, unrealistic expectations of someone who again receives no direction, truly a fun sucking environment to work in, DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT WORK HERE, you WILL be treated like garbage and you WILL be frustrated every day of your life there, entire company LOVES to take the CHEAPEST possible route, including not paying for training, or ppe besides safety glasses, fake promises

Roterra Piling is the ideal place to work for engineering students wanting to kick off their careers. You work closely with exceptional, patient mentors in project management, estimating, design engineering, and more. As well, you get to be very involved with day-to-day work and experience responsibilities of your own with the guidance of amiable staff.

The best part of Roterra Piling is definitely all the people you get to work with both internally and externally.

This company does not provide coveralls for the shop. There is no coffee for the shop. Employees are expected to prepay for their training and reimbursed IF you stay. There is a HUGE lack of communication and no direction. There is no formal training process. This company needs more structure and team building. Benefits are cheap. Started off excited about this job and then it took a huge plunge when I was not mentored or encouraged. Turn over is HUGE. Don't waste your time.

Established company with lots of future growth, the core team of employees is young (20's to 30's) and are bought into growing and shaping a positive legacy. There can be growing pains, and every workplace has its challenges, but the ownership is accessible, and invested in the day to day, while affording people who want to succeed lots of freedom to build their own success. 

Roterra Piling is a really great company to work for. I have learned a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge through design and drawing preparation. The working environment is very friendly, and there is always the chance to learn new things through every day practice. People here are all hard working, which pushes me to become better. Inter-departmental communication is also great here. I really love working here!

Started working here as a student on co-op, and it has been a wonderful experience from the start. Everyone, especially management has been very accommodating and welcoming. The work environment can be quite fast paced at times, but gives ample down time in between so that you don't feel overwhelmed.

I would also highly recommend other co-op students to work here, as there is a lot to learn about piling and foundations.

Fast paced environment. There will be days that you'll go home really tired. Good pay, half decent benefits. Best part is the people you work with, some of the best that I ever worked with. It's not a perfect place to work but it's definitely worth it. It was a good run with these guys.

This is a great place to work and the management, leadership and ownership genuinely care about their staff.  The company is inclusive, dynamic and always improving and growing.  Everyday there is an opportunity to work with a great group of friendly and helpful coworkers and learn and grow.  

Working for Roterra has been engaging experience. Working environment is not hostile and you are treated fairly with family like setting. You are engaged to make company to be more efficient and working towards that goal is very awarding.
