This was the most toxic work environment I have ever worked in. I was made to feel like I was stupid and useless from day one. When I was only a few days into my training I could hear my department manager saying to another manager that she thinks that I am stupid for not mastering the job after only being there for a few days. It doesn't matter how hard you work your rear-end for these people they will not appreciate you or say thank you. If a customer is still in the store at closing time you are NEVER to say I am sorry we are just about to close. If a customer wants to shop for another hour or two after closing time they are welcome to do so. This job has no work/life balance if you are in retail get ready to work every weekend because it will be rare if you do get a weekend off. In the slower times when sales are down the retail employees are the one's that get blamed for the lack of customers coming into the store. Honestly don't waste your time applying to this place because it will be a never ending nightmare if you do end up getting hired.

A typical day at s.t.o.p. involves coordinating projects, managing supplier and client communication, and ensuring timelines and goals are met. Every day brings new challenges, keeping the work fast-paced and engaging. I’ve learned how to adapt quickly, think strategically, and lead cross-functional teams effectively. Management is supportive, open to ideas, and focused on growth and accountability. The workplace culture encourages collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of teamwork. The hardest part of the job is balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction. However, this also builds resilience and problem-solving skills. The most enjoyable part is seeing a project successfully completed and knowing our work creates real value for clients. Being part of a company that prioritizes people, progress, and performance makes the role both rewarding and motivating.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The discount was good considering the mark up on most items.  The store hours were also great for employees.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There was little to no training, the executives are intimidating, aggressive during sales calls, improperly managed client concerns, pricing issues and order fulfilment concerns.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Employees are micromanaged, accountability is passed down and never assumed by management.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Constant fear or being reprimanded for issues beyond the scope of the job description.  Customer service, price changes, retail store merchandising and assisting sales agents.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good Benefits and holidays package. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
High demands more work than you can get done in a day

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Answering emails and phone calls from corporate customers and head office accounts. Entering orders, invoicing and investigating customer complaints/order errors

I found working at S.T.O.P. Restaurant one of the best places I have ever worked at. The people there work together with a common goal of making this company the best in customer service and product availability. They work hard to gather and deliver orders to their customers in a quick and efficient manner. 
They offer fair benefits and fair work ethics for their staff. 

Not a good place to work. Very low pay for amount of work you do. I was a Supervisor and was stuck in the middle of Owner and gm not communicating. Lots of back stabbing and people that try to ruin any good you do. Not run properly. Very bad culture. 

I joined STOP about 6 months ago and I’d like to say that the opportunity to grow and utilize my skill sets have been amazing. I really appreciate everyone  I work with and I am delighted to be apart of this team! 

The tasks are very enjoyable. I do paperwork a lot, lots of order entry, and calling customers. I keep learning every day more things and how to do my job better, I have so many awesome coworkers that I've been able to make friends with. 

the managers here have no idea what they are doing, there are huge conflict of interests in the management and well being of the company, if your looking for a place to grow this is not the place
