SALISBURY GREENHOUSE

Many of the employees are great to work with however if you try to resolve or assist in improving the business do not speak to a manager as it goes on deaf ears. Working conditions are not great, extreme heat (unless you provide your own fan), heavy lifting with no assistance, requested to work extra hours without pay or leave a customer without assistance and no safety regulations followed or accepted by management. Facility needs many improvements to help their employees however are never in the "budget"

Fast paced environment during spring season, but it helps the day go by fast.  Management is friendly and respectful and I felt like part of a team.  Management also acknowledges your hard work and I felt valued.  Fellow employees are friendly and work culture is positive.  Hardest part of the job were long hours on my feet - must be physically fit.  They have free coffee available to staff plus snacks in the fridge.  Saturday morning meetings provided coffee and snacks. 

Salisbury Greenhouse is an amazing place to work because the whole staff are very friendly and the work is easy. Loved working here and they provided free coffee too staff. The work is quite enjoyable and the day goes by fairly quickly as the work is always interesting and there is a lot to do so you’re always busy. They have staff meetings on Saturday’s where they give out snacks to staff.

Every summer experience I had at the Greenhouse was amazing! The other employees are extremely welcoming, and the business is well organized. I learned about all the hard work that is put in behind the scenes, but found some days to be tough when temperatures were high.

What a great place to work! Everyone there was a delight to work with. I thought that management provided an excellent example of work ethics and maintaining a positive team work environment.

Great co workers and supervisor, low pay with no incentives to want to stay there. expect a lot for minimal pay.  heavy work ,poor safety conditions and a lot of garbage around building in back and very wasteful, throw perfectly good plants away, a lot of plastics get thrown in main garbage.

Coworkers and staff are generally wonderful people. Excellent physical environment. Management is less than ideal, with no communication and predatory practices. 

I worked in management and found the people really great. The one down side was that my manager had unrealistic expectations. The work load was a lot and I was given very little direction / training from the get go so it was hard to keep up. 

They take students back every season if you want work, owners are friendly, fun to work with plants, awesome atmosphere as well, and you didn't feel like you where a burden or what have you being there. Everyone felt respected

Salisbury Greenhouse is awesome to work at! You'll learn tons with cool coworkers who are super friendly, outgoing, and always ready to help out. It’s been an amazing culture so far!
