What is the best part of working at the company?
Fun friendly interment! I loved stocking shelves and helping costumes with Christmas shopping.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress. The day before Christmas Eve was vary busy but that's to be expected.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun, diverse, friendly and family like.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up early in the morning. Say hello to everyone in the break room. Reshelf toys from yesterday's abandoned shoping baskets. Spend rest of the day tending to my dedicated shelves. Tidying and dusting. Restocking shelves with products from the back. Helping costumers and coworkers.

A typical day at work consisted of restocking store shelves, assisting customers in the store, helping customers carry purchases to their cars, cleaning and organizing aisles and disposing of garbage and boxes. I learned interpersonal skills when talking and assisting customers, as well as communication skills with co-workers. Management was very respectable, fair and understanding. Co-workers were all very courteous, friendly and displayed team work. Hardest part of the job was helping customers who wanted to make a very large purchases. Most enjoyable part of the job was organizing the store and inventory in the warehouse.

I enjoyed working for the samko & miko warehouse actually. Things got hectic as you can imagine for a 5 day sale event however, it wasn't unbearable, the staff were always close by if you felt overwhelmed or needed a break, customers were amazing to deal with & your co-workers are always there so your never alone.

The management is lacking organization and effort
When the managers leave for “roadshow” the people left in charge have absolutely no idea what is going on, the workplace is very uncoordinated and there is tons of drama in which the managers pick sides and fire people depending on who they like more

They werent late on payment, schedule was fine, they have good shifts operations, breaks were done and placed accordingly.

Working at Samko & Miko Toy Warehouse is a really nice place to work at. The co-workers there are very friendly and the managers are great. I enjoy working at Samko & Miko Toy Warehouse.

i enjoyed my time there i was able to learn new things meet new people and was able to enjoy ever shift. they made sure that if you were stuck or didnt understand what was going on they were there and able to help you

its a very good workplace, a good work team and you can learn about different thinks, in my case, I learn about packaging and picking

Always working as a team. There was never a bad moment long days and long hours. Great workplace,and great services.there always looking for help each year.

Easy going, easy to learn with them, super positive people. They are truly like a family!
One week 1 a year every year! Dont miss it at the EY center in ottawa!
