I decided to do this job as a newly 18 year old.  Setting off on my own was nice at first, and I independently got to travel. Hours were nice because I worked and typically got off by 3, and could explore the city I was in in the evening.  However after a while, this got old. I was only home typically one full day a weekend, because the rest of the weekend was reserved for driving to the next location. 

My manager was flexible. With notice I was able to have any days I needed off. Which was awesome! 

Discipline within the workplace was non-existent. 

Pay… you don’t get paid enough to reimburse you for your time or money put into this job… and it’s unfair. Growth opportunities is little to none. 





SAS Retail didn't explain how physical the job was, only how mentally tiring it was. This job was very physical and very mentally tiring requiring you to lift shelving, products and equipment in a short time limit, follow the planogram to a tee and rewrite missing tickets. If you couldn't make time limit quotas, or got stuck on where the tickets were or you were missing tickets you were penalized for it. If you got sick and contact them they wil punish you. Also being team lead, I had no team to lead, very misleading job. Management was unprofessional and demonize their staff for mistakes. I wouldn't recommend working here.

I was there for over 8 years and kept hearing about a supervisor position and raises but they never came. Its just a very unorganized company to many managers and supervisors that do a lot of nothing.  They also like to try to short change workers if they knew you could do the job of 2 people that was now your job load and no bonus or even a thank you they just want more for less.They also make people supervisors who don't know what they are doing at all they just live in the right area or know the right person.

Autonomy and security with job acquisition and execution of services.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
A week away at a time is tough.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Independent.  It's very much solo work...even in a team environment. 


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Overnight graveyard shifts common.

An alright place to work if you don't ruffle feathers. Make sure your are on top of communication with your leadership team if you do have any troubles (keep a paper trail). Work is uncomplicated and repetitive, easy for newcomers to catch on. Requires a lot of travel, so always budget for car troubles just in case. Management can be sketchy, so stay on all ten toes. Ultimately, your experience is what you make of it.

This is a turkey all inclusive company! I'm a gay black man in the work place my supervisor is very accepting sand the team I work with is to. The benefits are fair I mean if course their not the greatest but they are really fair! And the vacation and sick time that you earn and is given. And bonuses are awesome. 

-Organize planograms, put out stock
pros: straightforward, flexible hours
cons: management leaves you to yourself with little to no help, managers at stores you work at hover over your shoulders, there's a significant amount of heavy lifting required that they don't disclose at first, planograms were often not accurate to the measurements of shelves etc and prolonged your shift for hours

Overall this was a decent company to work for. The manager I had was great. 
The job was repetitive - completing planograms every day. That's all this job is. The most difficult part of the job was dealing with co-workers. Many did not show up for work so you had to complete the calls without any help.  Great job for someone looking for a few day a week. Turnover is high.


Poor management , they do not support their employees. Salary paid is not worth the amount of work you have to put in . Expectations are unrealistic. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody who wants to be treated with respect . The pay is not worth the amount of stress and work you put in . 

The only thing I think they need to improve is management. They have to let people their work is appreciate it. Upper management have to be more friendly and acknowledge employees.
