Sbl contractors has a good work life balance. Mgmt are really understanding especially the CFO. 

There are quite a bit of processes and initially it will be overwhelming just like any new job but after a month or two you get used to them and see the workflow. Job at the end of the day is relatively easy and compared to the work load you are doing you are compensated fairly. 

Sbl Contractors is a good place to work at for long term and if you are looking for stability. 

President has a good vision and I wish him all the best. The COO has an amazing personality and he is the go to person to get advice from. 

Beware of this company. Without a doubt the worst employer I have ever had. Not only are they very deceitful, but also very unsafe. They are very good at pulling the wool over the eyes of their employees and their customers. Not ever in my career have I been asked to to turn over uncompleted work to a client and hope they don't notice until I had worked for SBL. This company takes advantage of their clients and puts their employees last. They will pretend to promote career growth but in reality they will only do what directly benefits the upper management. Stay away.

ive work in the construction field for a long time and i can say that ive seen different types of work environment.
working with SBL is very different , the employees are very welcoming and supportive of their new staff members.
the management is there to support every aspect of my work.
the benefits are multiple but mainly creating a feeling of a teamwork mentality wich is a big plus.

I got hired with SBL right out of school, and couldn't have asked for more.  Not only am I given the tools and support to learn and grow, but I am given a large amount of freedom to do things my own way and leave a personal mark on the company.  After two years, I only have good things to say about this company.

Based on my experience, SBL is a company that will do everything in their power to give you a well-rounded basis of knowledge to do the job. Everyone is willing to help out when needed and will answer any and all questions that you may have. As it is a growing company, there are opportunities to advance your position.

This company does not value their employees and will not take the time needed to ensure employee moral. Lack of experience and knowledge in the industry is their biggest down fall and those in upper management are very unprofessional, often talking down clients behind their backs as well as other employees within the company.

Great people within the company, but because of the owner the potential to grow is lacking. Too much micro managing and deceit. Schedules are never meet, and no plans to ever improve. Safety culture is none existent, and moral is always low. Always told that there are all these projects coming, but never see them. Work is always slow.

Some of the best people I have ever worked with. Very collaborative work environment and everyone's always there to help when you need it. I've had the opportunity to work on many interesting projects and meet lots of interesting people. SBL encourages you to be the best you can be and to learn from your mistakes.

SBL Contractors has endless opportunities for learning, contributing, growing and advancing. It's not often a company says "theres lots of room for growth" and they mean it. Salary is above average, the tight knit team environment makes going to work every day enjoyable.

The work was straightforward. Nothing hard about it if you have the schooling or knowledge behind it. Loved the learning experience in the construction industry. The role I played in was a crucial part.

Management most definitely will let you go within a hard-beat if you are lacking 1 skill. No chances will be given or even warnings.
